I really like Big Brother Tristan but also how dare he not realize how amazing Palamedes is.
An idea that has been around my mind is that while Isolde and Tristan were in the forest, Brangaine married Palamedes. In my story, the love potion ends up fading and Isolde goes back to Mark, whereas Tristan is made to go to Brittany...except he still wants Isolde, and the whole Kahedin happens... EXCEPT, when Isolde is like "Brangaine, you should sleep with Kahedin", Brangaine is like "I'm married with Palamedes and I may be pregnant, fuck off"
Tristan, upon realizing that this means Palamedes got married and had a kid before him: YOU'RE WHAT???
What if after Palomides saved Brangaine, she had to stay at the nunnery longer to recover and he got second thoughts on using kidnapping and blackmail to get his way? He and Brangaine get along really well and when Tristan comes in to save Brangaine, it turns out she could have left at any time, but she enjoyed Palomides‘ company so much and they fell in love.

No, but like... Palamedes breaks into Mark's castle on a powerful white steed, stops in front of Isolde, her handmaidens and Tristan. Isolde is like "not you again, I don't love you!", Palamedes is like "and neither do I", then extends his hand, and helps Brangaine mount with him. Brangaine is giving the middle finger at them as her and Palamedes ride into the sunset Mark moves a chess piece and is like "Eh, why not"

Gawain and Agravaine are stopped from killing Palomides scenario 2: Brangaine went after him to confess her feelings because she's afraid he'll die on the Grail Quest. She throws herself on Palomides, bringing back very unpleasant memories for Gawain, and begs him as the ladies' knight to spare him for her sake. To Agravaine's malicious comment that Palomides' heart will only ever belong to one person, she answers it doesn't matter as long as he lives. (1/2)
