Pastor Scott Gilliam And Two Other Members Plead Guilty To Distributing Oxycodone In Church!

Give God A Hand Clap Of Praise – another False Prophet has been removed from the Pulpit! The Church Folk Revolution has just learned that a pastor who was a runner up for Bishop Eddie Long Award for Worst Pastor of 2013 has just pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute oxycodone.

Scott Gilliam, Brandon Logan and Michael Scott Logan, all of Olive Hill, were arrested in November. The arrests follow a year and a half long investigation dubbed "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing".

The men all pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute oxycodone.

Investigators said they operated one of the largest pill trafficking operations in Kentucky.

Officials said they seized more than $1 million in cash and assets and found a large amount of pills at Perry's Branch Holiness Tabernacle Church, where Gilliam was pastor until it closed about a year ago.

“Tens of thousands of pills that have a street value of $40 to $45 each. So you're talking [a] multimillion dollar trafficking organization,” the lead detective of the FADE Drug Task Force said.

No word when the men will be sentenced.

ORIGINAL STORY 1/21/14 @ 10:30 a.m. A former church pastor, along with two other men that investigators say operated one of the largest pill trafficking operations in Kentucky are expected plead guilty to federal drug trafficking charges on Wednesday.

Scott Gilliam, Brandon Logan and Michael Scott Logan, all of Olive Hill, were arrested in November.

All three are charged with conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute.

The arrests follow a year and a half long investigation dubbed "A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing".

The men originally pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Federal court officials in Ashland say plea hearings for the men have been scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday in U.S. District Court. There is no word on details of that plea.
