BRANDON LEE 31 March 1993 Brandon Lee was an actor who was the son of Bruce Lee, his father died when he was aged 8. Brandon Lee played Eric Draven in the film The Crow (1994). During filming Lee was killed in a freak accident. During filming a scene where a thug fires at Draven, Draven is shot and is supposed to fall forward. The dummy cartridges were replaced with blank rounds, but no real bullet. The dummy was shot with the same force as a real bullet and it struck Lee. Lee fell backwards, and no one on set realised that Lee was seriously injured. When the director shouted 'cut', Lee didn't get up. A stunt man approached Lee and realised he was unconscious, with heavy breathing and pulse stopped. The bullet pierced through his abdomen and ended up near his spine. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Lee died on 31 March 1993, aged 28.
