San Fermin, Recipe by Benjamin Krick
Ingredients:
1 oz. Lustau Brandy
1 oz. Lustau Oloroso Sherry
3/4 oz. Kalimoxto Reduction*
1/2 oz. Lustau Fino Sherry
Preparation: Pour all the ingredients into a mixing glass. Add one lemon peel and stir everything together at room temperature. Then strain into the mini porron.
*Kalimoxto Reduction
Reduce a glass of Spanish red wine (I used garnacha) over a medium simmer to 1/4 of the original amount. Then separately, reduce a bottle of Mexican coke over a medium simmer to 1/4 of the original amount. Finally Blend the two together red wine>coke 2:1.
