Brasideia 2024: One Week to Go!

We are counting down to seeing all of your posts this Sunday, July 21! Prior posts on this here and here. In sum: post any Brasidas-related art, fanfic, gifsets, virtual photography, fun facts, general musings, etc. under the tag #Brasideia2024 (capitalization does not matter, but note that there is no space). Feel free also to reblog/post older works to give them new life! Please, no AI works for this event.

If you like, please tag me (@aeide) and my buddy-in-crime @findusinaweek in your posts as well as including the hashtag, because sometimes not everything shows up in the tag search even though it should, and we would love to boost anything that comes our way.

We are so excited about what we have already seen so far, and we look forward to Sunday!

Brasideia 2024: Sunday, July 21!

Our mission: to create as many Brasidai as possible, as in the vein of last year's Brasideia, which post also contains a brief historical explanation of this festival for those interested.

Now, based upon the results of this poll, a plurality of us appear to be afraid of commitment despite our enthusiasm 😂. Accordingly, we want to emphasize that this is super low-key and no-pressure, and @findusinaweek and I have come up with a nice long deadline (about 7 weeks from now—note that the dat is July 21 and not June!) for you to create whatever moves you. That could be fan art, fanfiction, virtual photography, edits, gifs, fanmixes, moodboards, historical tidbits, or really anything Brasidas-related that you would like to share. Please feel free also to reblog/post older works to give them new life, because a lot of us came into AC Odyssey years after the game was released. (If you would like an idea of what was posted last year, you can peruse the #Brasideia2023 tag.)

This year's tag will be #Brasideia2024 so we can easily find each other. We did run into a bit of an issue last year where not everything that was tagged showed up, so regardless of whether we are mutuals, please do also feel free to tag us (@aeide and @findusinaweek) directly so no one's work gets missed.

EDIT: We didn't have to really deal with this last year, and we hope this will not be an issue this year either, but for the sake of clarity and avoidance of doubt, we do not support and will not reblog AI-generated work.

For those of you who are not interested or unable to participate in Brasideia but would like to do something else Assassin's Creed related, stay tuned, as another fabulous person who shall remain unnamed for now may be planning something for later this year 👀.
