Brave Bow and little Roy 💜💜
You are the first person I have ever seen draw Brave Bow and I love that OH SO MUCH!!! Roy's connection to him is so special to me! I've just discovered you, and I can't wait to see more of your work!!!
Oh my goodness, thank you!!! They are very special to me. 🥺🙏🏼✨
They make me physically unwell.
Part of me wishes I hadn’t inked this one— A lot of organic details often get lost in translation. How else will I learn to get better at line art, however, if I never practice? I found this piece of Overwatch (?) fanart on Pinterest an’ decided as always that I needed to try it with characters of my choosing. Constantly shooting for the stars— There are some truly incredible fan-artists out there. ✨
Complicated family relationships in comics
I was doing a Queen-Drake family tree for my headcanon reboot. Sure, there are a lot half siblings and foster kids involved, but that's not too difficult to manage. But trying to get Roy Harper's tree in familyecho is killing me. It allows for primary and secondary sets of parents and you can specify adoptive, foster, or biological, but I can't get Roy Sr., Brave Bow, Oliver, and Roy's biological mom all on there, so far I can tell. Just need three different levels of parents, that's all. :)
Comic book families just aren't that simple.
