Writing Gingerbrave is surprisingly hard I swear.

Every scene I write of him its never really a matter of "Would he do this?" because for a friend there's a not a lot he wouldn't do. Rather I have to keep asking myself "What would make him stop?"

Because like Gingerbrave has so much willpower and hope in his heart.

Even after being born knowing the horrifying truth of the witches, he kept running for a better life and started a kingdom with his friends. Even after being used by Dark Enchantress Cookie, he believed in the goodness of White Lily Cookie until the very end. Even after nearly being crumbled multiple times in the Spire of Deceit and seemingly betrayed by Pure Vanilla, he still called out to Pure Vanilla Cookie to help him against Shadow Milk. Even after witnessing all his friends crumble and being mentally tormented by the Ultimate Cookie, all he needed was to hype himself up and he got back up to start running for the oven doors.

Obviously he has limits but trying to write in what they are is a very fascinating process. He can stopped by things utterly mundane but then also run through fire to save someone even when they hurt him. So really "What would make him stop?"
