‘Bravelecki’ Screen Captures

So from what I could hear from the panel (the audio wasn't great) it sounds like when the role came up Jared thought of Jake and said he would fit the role perfectly. He said Jake is a "filmmaker at heart" so he called him up and was like "I don't know if you're available or if you're interested" and said he'd love for him to come direct an ep of Walker, and shadow directors on set, and said that he had a role for him. Jake said he had just moved his family to Austin 4 months earlier and "it felt so right because it felt like I was starting a new home in a new city and here was family calling me saying hey do you wanna come drive down the street and hang out again." And he talked about taking big risks (moving his family to Austin) and how you don't always know if its the right move but getting that phone call let him know this was right.
That's what I heard as well! It's amazing how sometimes things just work out. I also loved the reference to "Bravelecki". It seems Jared's known for a while that Jake is interested in film-making and now that he's in a position to help, wanted to provide the opportunity for Jake to learn more about directing and possibly direct Walker. Jared knows talent when he sees it and is so great at helping to develop talent!

okay I haven't seen much on it recently but there shouldn't be hate to Jared. Thank you for coming to my ted talk. Discussion is allowed. I have many points on why this shouldn't be okay. Hate wont be tolerated. Disagreeing is fine. Hating and wishing ill will is nOT. Also I just don't understand why people need to be SO upset. Again I have reasons as to why I feel that way but DAMN
