ok wait yea since im still thinking abt the teens isnt it so crazy that they were part of that big life-flashing-before-your-eyes hallucination jack had to get his soul back in the category of Very Bad Things he did . like as in to imply if not outright confirm hes just been feeling guilty about that since it happened until it eventually became fodder for his big suicide plan. in a repeated theme of jack making genuinely well intended decisions that always wind up going wrong and leaving other people worse off because his own flaws still get the better of him and his good intention, and ultimately solidify in jacks mind that he is evil and dangerous no matter how hard he may try not to be those things and can never belong anywhere or deserve the very basic things he wants. but who cares about that we need to see destiel get divorced and remarried and sams forehead gaining another worry wrinkle on a metronomic basis again

s15 could’ve been so much better if they did a prodigal son sort of arc w jack returning and yknow doing treason w the grim reaper to kill his grandfather but noooo. no this show is so allergic to letting anyone else have focus. we really needed five more episodes of sam and dean and cas throwing a pity party for themselves about jack and then get absolutely nothing from jacks side ever because he can only have agency and a personality when the plot needs him to. worst narrative entrapment ever
