I had a bit of a crisis this afternoon when I discovered that my last can of Tamiya primer was empty and then was overjoyed to discover that, for some reason, I still had an almost full can of GW’s Corax White sitting on a shelf! And then I used it and reminded myself why it had been sitting on a shelf. I may as well have coated them with sand. Still, it’s 5 grunts in a horde; hopefully they’ll still paint up ok in the end.

Introducing Khârrek. The Great Wargor. Spawn of Kharneth. Beastlord of Khorne. He was once a noble and honored Huntsman by the name of Gârren, who thrived on the hunt of the deplorable Beastkin throughout the Blasted Plains region of Ghur. On a night when a blood red moon rose over the Realm, he delved too far in to the hunt, and found himself not so much treading, but bounding down the eight fold path. He found himself gasping and kneeling before a Monolithic Herdstone, surrounded by it's slaughtered tribe, viscera and gore coating the Huntsman from boot to helm... Great Horns twisted out from his disforming skull, hooves burst from his boots as his screaming turned to low and gutteral braying all the while he cut furiously in to the Herdstone with his twin axes, desperate for reprieve, he found nothing but sparks as metal met stone. Jarring his muscular arms as a rhythmic chime sounded by his rage fuelled frenzy. His gift from the Blood God turned him in to a savage, unreasoning and deadly hunter of all things. That's 19 bestigor (in front of my very snazzy Christmas tie) which need rebasing for AOS although as I'm doing it I may just go the whole hog and repaint them too. First things first though I want to add some rocks to their bases using some left over sprue. This may not end well.

Ghor! Or is it Gor? I never can remember. Still well short of a herd but progress non the less. Rebasing my bestigor next before I look at the next Gor unit. Anyone have any ideas what works well for Brayherd these days? ~Sohlon~

Great Bray Shaman complete. I'm not 100% happy with him but it's late and I'm knackered. Still, Wings, tentacles and a large pointy stick... what could be more chaos?!
