Too hot to go out to dinner? Then it’s the perfect time to go out to breakfast instead! Especially if you don’t want to stay indoors all day and all night! This time we went to Nealie’s Skillet where we had several yummy dishes! Eddie had the amazing "Chorizo Con Papas” dish that included Chorizo, home fries, green peppers, onions, pico de gallo, cotija cheese, crema, colby blend, cheese, tortilla strips, topped with two fried eggs! And yes, of course he had to take about half of it home, used it as a side that night with our steak dinner. The daughter ordered the "Traditional Eggs Benedict” though this version also has a bed of refreshing Arugula. My choice, the Avocado Benny, aka the special Shannon Mee told me about, used two halves of a small avocado to hold two poached eggs, bacon, Arugula, pico de gallo and jalapeño Hollandaise sauce.
