#breaking dawn.

lots of pleasant and beautiful things this week.

I saw a sunrise, learned that the birds wake up around 05:30, biked through not-yet-busy streets, and went for my first evening walk wearing only a hoodie and no jacket. I met with a friend I hadn't seen in two or so months, we had bubble tea (never had that before, what a fun drink), caught up on ~everything~ and later biked to her house to have dinner with her husbad, and for me to meet her cats (cats!!!! I got to pet two cats!!!!). I finally gave her the crochet cat that guarded my bookshelf for the last few weeks (she named her Felice). when I biked home after dinner, the world felt different, better, kind of magic. the days's warmth was still lingering and I felt so alive.

.........the very contrary to how I'm feeling right now. early shift is kicking my ass. yes, the sunrise is beautiful, the morning birds are a delight, the customers are so much more friendly and relaxed, the shop is quiet for the first 2,5 hrs or so, the tips are better, and I don't have to clean. but hooo boy the exhaustion. I knew I'd struggle but it's been so long since I've even had a 07:00 am start that I'd forgotten just how much it fucks me up. I'm essentially useless for the rest of the day and very firmly back in do-it-tired territory, which, bad I do not like it here 0/10 I barely have any energy for even the most basic tasks/activities do not recommend. that's why I like late shifts, at least I get to be awake and engage with my hobbies my one dear hobby, crochet, which I am currently banned from due to overworked wrists during the time I'm at home. I hope I'll get used to it (speaking from experience I likely won't but sshhhhhh we're ignoring that and hoping for the best). maybe I'll go for an evening walk now.

Freaking plot twisting twilight...my life is a lie.

Just saw Breaking Dawn Part 2 today, and it was for two reasons:

1. I needed a good laugh (surprisingly it was good though).

And 2. Kate and Garrett.

Like fuck. Those two.

I mean, he is so in love with her that he is holding her as she emits thousands of volts of electricity, and it hurts him so much, and he'll still do it because if he lets go, she will die.

Oh, these two. :') I forget how much I love them really. I re-read Breaking Dawn three times, skimming through everything but their parts because just THESE TWO.

(I also wish that fight had actually happened, despite the deaths. Because it was quite wonderful and realistic, because more people should have died...)

There being such a thing as "veggie vampires."

Vampires sparkling in the sunlight.

A girl's choice between necrophilia and bestiality.

An eighteen-year-old boy falling in love and becoming obsessed with an infant female.
