So here's something that's a random thought but could, just possibly someone use the idea of superbat and it can be written out into a book?

Like billionaire rich boy during the day detective at night with an alien boyfriend that is from the south save the world and get together with a hint of frenemies to lovers crushed in between??

Like I'm just saying I could make this happen. I want to make this happen. But the thing is can I make it happen? I also realized superbat in some cases is also Sherlock and Watson coded. Cold guy who's scary smart and can solve cases. A side kick that is used as muscle in-between cases and technically comes to save the day with his own skills in-between. The thing is it just has less drugs involved. Unless you count Bruce drinking ungodly amounts of caffeine.

But anyway this is kinda like a shower thought of superbat but technically I just want to see if I could write a mystery novel that is coded with two characters I really love.

As for any others - if you give me valid reasonings, I can pretty much buy into anything! I love reading different angles on characters though, so it’s fun!

My unpopular opinion about this character

[I know there’s gotta be one or two in my brain and I’m blanking under pressure - I’ll probably think of one as soon as I hit post, so be sure to peek back later for when I’ve changed the answer… 😜]

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

To skip the 2 most obvious… (Deeks, M w/ a tie into his past with his father and/or Densi babies)

I’m going to say a scene like I mentioned above - a Densi/Neric double date at the beach. - This could happen anytime and work for me! 

Some op where they disguise him up by doing something WACKY with his hair.

seriously, even the slicked-back look ECO had in Band of Robbers - totally changed his look. Show should take advantage! 

But something even more nuts, like throwing his hair up in a man bun or french braid (cuz it’s totally long enough to do so), would be some way to do the funny that they haven’t approached before. 

One that would be more past (cuz at this point it’s just been too long otherwise) - A scene where we have the guys find out more about Deeks’s past and realize the mask he puts up because of it

Added bonus would be some comment or bit where Deeks/Callen realize the similarities they share, stemming from their awful childhood years - they were SOOOOOO close in that scene in Reznikov, N, but then nada.

I have been doing so much reading on ao3 lately and have come to realization conner has to be one of my favorite superman characters of all time.

Not only is there so much to break down from his character but he's so wildly different that I love it.

It's also kinda sad but also refreshing to see superman so outta his depth about the fact he has a half son with lex luthor of all people.

It's honestly really sad to see the fact he doesn't actually know how to handle conner though. Like Kal just happens to be disturbed by him and it causes a rift between them that can't be mended. Of course it's not Conners faults but the fact he has no idea what to do to make superman like him kills him on the inside but he tries to still do right and make him proud.

It's honestly so sweet and yet so sad at the same time. Which is why I love that he has the young justice league and his boyfriend to always support him. It really seems like we glazed over their relationship and don't do any real development which is a blessing as it is a curse.

Honestly I love seeing where superman kinda just accepts him and acts like a divorced parent sharing custody but I just absolutely with all my heart LOVE when we get to see more break down fics of their relationship and the seems of what makes Conner and Clark's bond.

Again, give me a good story, and I can buy into it! Haven’t really seen too stories with Kensi with others (except maybe a couple with Callen - that said - that undercover kiss from Rage is HOT!😇)

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I do love the girlie bonding moments between Kensi and Nell, they always seem like they have a lot of fun! 

I also like the dynamic between Kensi and Eric - my headcanon there is that they started at the Office of Special Projects around the same time without a ton of previous experience like the others, so they kinda “grew up” together in the office before the show began.

See my last “wish to happen” cuz it kinda goes with this. I mean maybe not unpopular, but I just can’t make it work!  😤

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Again, skipping the obvious (see Deeks’s list) cuz yeah!

As mentioned on Deeks’s list - a double date with Neric - just for funsies

A reference or mention of her AS Kensi Deeks - even if it’s just with friends, away from work. But an at work reference would be fun too, just like from Hetty or something. (I won’t reiterate the fun mini-headcanon I had with that)

Kinda going with that, I wish the show had a little bit more in the domestic moments where we learn more about the characters outside of the job, all of them. We’ve gotten a little bit more of this lately with the addition of the bar and such, but it still ends up being tied into the work stuff. Let’s just let our characters people other than crime-fighters!

I wish there’d been more about her teenage years after her father died, cuz I can’t for the life of me fill the plot hole and satisfactorily resolve Kensi avoiding being returned to her mother after her father’s death. They lived on a base, probably surrounded by similar families who’d known all 3 of them. So I presume at least a few of them maintained contact with Julia, in addition to whichever authorities (both investigatory and base personnel). Plus there’s the travel from the East Coast to the West, and somehow maintaining her father’s things (including his rifle?!) while living on the street as a teenage runaway. I mean, of all people, if anyone could have it’s Kensi, I just can’t resolve it in my head.

For the character asks, Sam Hanna

How I feel about this character

I like him, don’t get me wrong, but I’m a little bit sick of the fact he seems to get to save the day a lot of the time (medic-ing, bomb disarming, on top of all the usual day-saving type stuff - can’t anyone else have a special power!?)

On that note, yes I know he’s one of the stars, they’re supposed to star - but when the guy is out-bombtech-ing the bomb techs (see: The Seventh Child), that irks me a bit. Like, let the professionals who really focus on that, make the final determinations about things.  

The character himself is also a weeee bit arrogant, always thinking he’s a great judge of character (see: any case where he already knows the person involved) - while being reluctant on the same from others (see: Plan B).

I still love Michelle. Her character was awesome and the show did itself a disservice by killing her off. As an agent, she also worked well with all the other team members, and I think it would have been fun if she’d become one of our random recurring people in these later seasons.

Sam/Callen is like the ultimate BroTP of all time, so that’s an obvious one. 

My unpopular opinion about this character

Maybe the answer to that first question? ^ I’m not really sure if my opinions there align to the larger viewing audience or not. 

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

One thing I would have liked to have seen was a scene in Season 9 where Aiden and Sam get into a fight, Aiden calling Sam out as the reason Michelle is dead (cuz he didn’t kill Tahir in Aiden’s presence the year prior). Like I don’t figure he knows all the history between Sam/Tahir, but I figure he knows basics following the incident at his school. 

And I’d still like to see Sam and Callen have to do some undercover (at the very least just like a moment) as a couple. Because, how have we gone 10+ seasons and NOT yet?!
