Breaking Him Chapter Ten Sneak Peak
The first night had passed. Not getting enough sleep at all, Roman was up early making some coffee and something to eat when he felt someone staring a hole in his back. He didn't bother to turn around, he could feel Dean's presence clearly.
„Hi...“
A hoarse voice was breaking the silence.
„Hi...” he answered and flipped the toast over.
“You want some breakfast?“
„No.“
Dean limped to the chair and sat down. He didn't know what to say and instead scratched the skin under his left collar bone nervously.
“I... I'm sorry for yesterday...”
Dean's voice was low and he wasn't sure if Roman heard it but was relieved when he heard him finally answer:
“I know.”
Roman grabbed a plate and his coffee and sat down in front of Dean and started eating. Dean had a good look of Roman's nose which was slightly swollen with a hint of blue. He bit his lip as he watched him eating, a frown on his face. This must have hurt. But what hurt him more was the feeling, that Roman tried to ignore him. He looked at anything but the person in front of him.
“Are you mad?” he asked finally.
“No.” he took another bite from his toast.
“Sure?”
“Yeah...”
“Well, you look angry, I-”
“What do you expect, Dean? Tell me! You were gone for nearly two months! Two month without a single word from you while you were talking to everyone else BUT ME. I called you a thousand times but you never called back!”
Roman knew he shouldn't say all that but it just felt right to get it out of his system. He looked at Dean but Dean only could look away. The frustration from the past two month and his suspension just got the best of him. Roman finally got up and put his dishes in the dishwasher and rambled ahead.
“It seems like, by the look of you, you've given up your career and your relationship with me to have one hell-of-a-time with some of your old friends from CZW. And you know what? That's awesome! But I cared about you, Dean! I fucking cared about you! I didn't know where you were and I was dying to hear from you. You vacated your title and I am the last to know. And now that I got you back, you punch me in the face and tell me I should leave you alone.”
Roman was in a rage and couldn't think clearly. He knew he crossed a line as he turned around and looked at Dean again, who was a sobbing mess, falling apart right in front of him. He felt his heart sank and felt the urge to punch himself in the face. Why couldn't he bite his tongue?

Dean started crying silently. He just had to remember anything! This wasn't normal. He tried to wiped angrily the tears away just to be reminded that everything hurt. His hands, his face, his whole body ached. The more time passed, the more angrier he got. He grabbed his hair and tugged until it became unbearable so he stopped. He looked at his hands, covered with dried blood barely washed away by the shower a few hours ago and dried again.
Breaking Him Chapter Eight Sneak Peak
“Fuck. Hey, it's me. It's me, Dean. I don't want to harm you, I-”
“Go away!” Dean screamed again.
Roman couldn't process what's happening, still holding his bleeding nose.
“Leave me alone.”
“I'm not leaving you alone.”
“LEAVE ME ALONE!”

3 things this week:
I applied online for a library card from my new neighborhood and honestly, I should have just gone there. It’s been so long and I still don’t have it! I just look longingly at their collection online (not like I have any time anyway, my TBR is 18 miles long right now) since it’s so much better than my current library’s.
