"If your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough." – Ellen Johnson Sirleaf
Dreaming big is powerful, but why stop there? Sometimes, what we think is "big" is just the edge of what we think we deserve. So here’s the challenge: push past that limit. Don’t just dream big—dream bigger than you ever thought possible.
1. dream it...then double it
Picture your dream life. Now, ask yourself: What’s one thing you’d add if there were no fear, no limits, no “what ifs”? Maybe it’s that penthouse overlooking the city, a career that feels impossible, or a lifestyle that seems out of reach. Whatever it is, claim it unapologetically.
2. break the rules
Who says your dream is too much? Too expensive? Too ambitious? The only rules that matter are the ones you create. Break the ones that keep you small. Remember: what feels "unrealistic" today could be your reality tomorrow.
3. BE the part
You don’t have to wait for the dream to feel it. Start now. Light that luxury candle. Wear that outfit that makes you feel unstoppable. Speak as if it’s already yours. The more you embody that energy, the closer it gets.
4. now level up again
Once you’ve expanded your dream, go further. What’s the next step? Maybe it’s not just a penthouse, but a global lifestyle. Not just a new career, but a legacy. Don’t let fear or “realism” cap your vision.
Your dreams should thrill and challenge you. The best part? The only limit is how far you’re willing to go.
So, what's your big dream—and how will you dream even bigger?
Shed What’s Holding You Back to Build the Life You Want
Remember when we used to play The Sims? There was something so powerful about designing the perfect character—choosing their look, their hobbies, their personality. You could decide what their hair would look like every day, what their clothes would say about them, how they’d spend their days and nights. You’d play out their dreams, and somehow, it felt like magic when those visions started to come to life.
Now, it’s time to stop dreaming in pixels and start creating our own life. The game is over—this is our reality.
you have to let go of the past
It’s time to shed the version of ourselves that’s stuck in the past. Let go of the old narrative. The one that tells you you’re not enough, or that you can’t be who you want to be. The imposter syndrome has had its run, but it’s no longer welcome here. We’ve mourned the past long enough, and now it’s time to step forward.
We’ve been clinging to the old, but now we’re called to something greater. We’re destined to move forward, but we’ve held ourselves back by staying rooted in who we once were. It’s time to release what no longer serves us so we can step into the future God has waiting.
How to Let Go:
Release what God has rejected. It’s not a loss—it’s a redirection.
Resume your responsibilities. Pick up where you left off with intention.
Get ready for something better. God's next is always greater than what’s behind.
The Vision for My 2025
So, if I could build the perfect version of myself for 2025, what would she look like? This is my vision—a woman who radiates confidence, elegance, and a clear sense of purpose.
Wardrobe:
She dresses with intention, like every outfit is a reflection of her inner world. She’s effortlessly classy—sensual, grown, and timeless. She gravitates toward eclectic pieces, each one telling its own story—a statement bag here, an asymmetrical top there. Her style is uniquely hers, and it turns heads without trying. Even when she’s dressed down, people can’t help but compliment her. Her wardrobe feels high-end, but it’s the simplicity and comfort that make it stand out. She loves colors—rich hues that pop against her skin, because she knows that her complexion allows colors to literally radiate from her. Red for date nights, black for a touch of mystery. Each piece is chosen with care, because she knows how to blend luxury and ease, making every look an experience.
Work Attire:
She’s a force in the corporate tech world, mainly working from the comfort of her home. But when she steps into the office, she brings the same timeless style with a modest twist—effortlessly chic, like she’s walking through a boardroom runway. Every outfit is a statement, without saying a word.
Sleepwear:
Even bedtime is an opportunity to feel like a goddess. Her pajamas are silky, feminine, and luxurious. Think chemise dresses—soft, flowing, and sensual—not your grandmother’s nightgowns, but an elegant nightwear collection she can’t wait to slip into. She’s drawn to soft neutrals like whites, creams, blacks, and delicate pinks, with a quiet confidence that she looks just as beautiful while she sleeps.
Makeup:
Her everyday makeup is subtle yet stunning—accentuating her features without masking them. For special events, she goes bold: a deep red lip, or a smoky eye that demands attention. It’s always about enhancing what’s already there, never hiding. She knows the power of looking effortlessly put together, whether she’s headed to the office or a night out.
Diet and Fitness:
Her body is a reflection of the life she’s building—strong, healthy, and active. She eats a balanced diet, focused on protein, fiber, and fresh greens. Nigerian dishes fill her plate, but she’s learned the importance of balance. She’s gaining weight to build curves, strengthening her body with every workout. The gym is her playground, and she wears colorful, flattering sets that make her feel unstoppable. Wednesdays are her chance to romanticize her life with pink workout gear, a personal touch to remind her that she is branding her life, on and off social media.
Community:
She’s surrounded by women who don’t just dream—they take action. They are spiritual, entrepreneurial, and fiercely ambitious. They love Christ and believe in lifting each other up. They’re a community of beauty lovers, skincare enthusiasts, and fearless dreamers. Together, they make things happen. Their support is unwavering, and they inspire each other to live life fully—no holding back.
Home and Environment:
She lives in a luxury penthouse with panoramic views that take her breath away every time she looks out the window. Think floor-to-ceiling windows, bathed in natural light, with a view of the city—maybe Dallas, her favorite city in Texas. Her space feels like an oasis—soft neutrals with deep textures, creating a balance of tranquility and energy. Browns, creams, greens, and touches of gold make her space feel alive and welcoming. It’s the kind of home that excites her to be in, a sanctuary for when the world gets too loud. Her furry companion, a little fawn-colored Shorkie, keeps her company as she reflects on her life.
Lifestyle:
She’s the type of woman who enjoys the simple luxuries—brunches at her favorite spots, working from cozy coffee shops with the best ambiance, and discovering hidden gems in the city. She’s constantly inspired by the world around her. She takes time to do her devotions, and attends church regularly—on Sundays and Wednesdays—fully immersed in her faith. She wants to be more active, and has joined the women’s Bible study group at church.
Creativity:
She’s rediscovering her creative side, embracing the things she once loved as a child—painting, pottery, and exploring new forms of self-expression. She’s letting go of the pressures to conform and is finally diving into what makes her feel alive.
now i want you to try!
Imagine waking up every day in a space that feels like you’ve stepped into your dream life. Your wardrobe reflects your confidence, your energy, and your purpose. You move through the world with intention, shedding the weight of what no longer serves you and confidently stepping into the person you were always meant to be. The path to this transformation is one step at a time, but each step is a declaration that we are no longer bound by the past. We’re building something new, something powerful, something real. So, let’s make it happen. The life you’ve been dreaming of is waiting to unfold—and it starts now. Together, we’re shedding what’s holding us back and building the life we want. Let’s bring this vision to life.
In Penthouse Dreams: Stepping into My White Couch Era I painted the picture of my dream penthouse --- a year of luxury, freedom, and living unapologetically on my own terms. It's not just about the space, it's about what that space represents: independence, growth, and a life lived boldly.
But dreaming big? It's never as easy as it sounds. Even as I picture myself stepping into that penthouse, doubt creeps in. "is this too much? too unrealistic?" The practical side of me starts questioning, but here's the thing: PRACTICAL won't get you to your dreams. Practical keeps you playing small.
When those doubts arise, I remind myself: the only limits are the ones i accept. i choose to break free from old narratives that say dreams should be kept modest.
The "practical" life isn't for me anymore. It's about rewriting those beliefs --- like that owning a penthouse for a year is wasteful. It's not. It's living in alignment with my goals, my desires, and my highest self. I step into gratitude and claim it as already mine. Even when I can't see it all yet.
But dreaming big is just the START. The next step? Aligning your reality with your future self. For me, it's about creating little touches of luxury in my daily life, even now. Whether it's curating a space with soft neutrals or lighting a candle that smells like a five-star hotel, I'm already living in the energy of my dreams.
So what does your "penthouse" look like?
Maybe it's a career move, a dream destination, or simply carving out a space that's all yours. Whatever it is, don't let doubt keep you small.
It’s never too late to redesign your life for the better.
Don’t let the noise fool you. There is no deadline for softening into the person you’ve always wanted to become.
You can start showing up differently.
You can change your mind.
You can get clear, romanticize the process, and decide today that you’re ready for more.
More ease.
More beauty.
More discipline that feels like devotion.
More mornings that feel sacred instead of rushed.
More nights that end with skincare and self-trust.
There is power in pausing. Even mid-year. Even mid-week. Even mid-emotion. And saying to yourself, “I’m not going to keep living on autopilot. I’m curating a life that feels like mine.”
So whether you’re resetting your routines, letting go of old dynamics, decluttering your space, or just waking up with hope again — you’re doing the work. Quietly. Beautifully. On your own time.
August is for the girls who are rewriting their lives with grace and glitter.
🌷 Here’s to romanticizing your reset.
Here’s to August being softer, stronger, and sweeter.
Hey loves, let’s talk about something that’s been heavy on my heart—vision boards, and why they might not be working for you. It hit me when I realized: so many vision boards are missing the secret ingredient—God’s guidance. We can stick as many dreamy pictures on that board as we want, but without God at the center, we’re just throwing darts in the dark.
Vision boards are not just about making pretty collages. They’re about faith moves. The truth is, we’ve all been guilty of setting our own plans and goals, but so often they aren’t in alignment with what God truly has in store. We chase what we want, instead of what He’s calling us to.
Recognizing Where You’re Misaligned Misalignment looks like this:
• Thinking you know better than God.
• Getting frustrated with His timing when it’s taking longer than you imagined.
• Forgetting that true success is rooted in surrender, not just hustle.
But here’s the kicker: when you align your dreams with His will, everything starts to fall into place. It’s like switching from blurry vision to crystal clear. When you’re walking in alignment with Him, you’re not just manifesting wishes—you’re walking in purpose.
Shifting to a Vision with Purpose
Creating a faith-based vision board means seeing your dreams through God’s eyes. It’s about setting goals that honor Him, then taking the action steps to make them real. Here’s how to make that shift:
Submit Your Plans to Him
It all begins with surrender. Proverbs 16:9 says it best: “People can plan what they want to do, but it is the Lord who guides their steps.” Stop trying to force your plan and trust that His plan is always better.
Take Action, Not Just Wishes
Faith without works is dead. Dreaming without doing is like saying you want to eat and never getting up to cook. If you’ve got dreams, get moving. Whether it’s launching that business, starting that book, or stepping into a new career, take the first step.
Stay Consistent
Consistency is key. Whether it’s your vision board, your fitness goals, or your faith journey, it’s the steady effort that brings the breakthroughs. Trust the process and stay the course. Keep your eyes on the bigger picture—God’s got you.

From Vision to Purpose: Overcoming Overthinking to Build with Intention
Have you noticed how debilitating overthinking can be in our lives at times? It creeps in quietly, paralyzing our ability to move forward, to make decisions, or to even dream freely. We spend so much time measuring our lives in calendar years—12 neat little months, January to December. But what if we shifted our perspective? What if, instead of seeing time as months on a grid, we saw it as seasons? Quarters we could design intentionally, with purpose and focus.
Overthinking often creeps in when we lack focus. When our minds scatter in every direction, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, unsure, or stuck. The remedy? You HAVE to find a focus. Most especially if you are a multi hyphenate. Anchor yourself in something clear and intentional.
For me, this year, that focus is my YouTube channel. I’m not just focusing on creating content—I’m building something. A space where faith, storytelling, and purpose intersect. My vision? To scale my channel, to create content that resonates deeply, and to reach the milestone of monetization. But it’s not just about numbers or metrics; it’s about impact.
This year I decided to be intentional so I started by writing down what I wanted: What do I want my channel to look like by the end of this year? What kind of community do I want to build? What stories do I want to tell?
And then, I brought it before God. I asked Him to revise it, refine it, and align it with His will. Because a vision in alignment with God isn’t just a dream—it’s a purpose.
Seasons change, focus evolves, and visions grow. But with clarity, intention, and alignment, every season can become something meaningful.
Everyone wants to curate the life of their dreams.
But let's be real—most of you are curating aesthetics, not actual lives.
You're saving pins. You're making vision boards. You're dreaming about who you'll be "someday" while your real life is happening right now, slipping through your fingers while you scroll through someone else's highlight reel.
Here's the truth that no one wants to hear: If your goals only exist in your dreams, they will die there.
Escapism will never get you where you want to be. And you can't build your dream life by making cheap decisions.
You Can Have It All (Just Not All at Once)
Let me tell you something about "having it all"—it's real, but it doesn't look like the fantasy.
You can have balance. You can have the life you want. But not everything gets to be perfect at the exact same time. Balance means seasons. It means priorities shifting. It means some weeks your fitness is on point and your inbox is a disaster. It means choosing what matters most right now and making peace with the rest.
Having it all means understanding that your dream life isn't a destination where everything clicks into place perfectly. It's a practice. It's daily choices. It's messy and unglamorous and requires you to show up even when you don't feel like it.
And you absolutely cannot get there by running away from your real life.
Let's Talk About Cheap Decisions
You know exactly what I'm talking about.
Cheap decisions look like:
Hitting snooze instead of showing up for yourself
Eating or drinking just for comfort instead of nourishment
Spending money impulsively on things that don't actually serve your lifestyle or goals
Staying in relationships or friendships that drain your energy because it's easier than setting boundaries
Scrolling, bingeing, or escaping when you feel anxiety instead of taking action
Saying yes to things that don't align with your priorities just to please others
Avoiding discipline, growth, or confrontation because it's uncomfortable
Cheap decisions feel easy in the moment. They feel like relief. But they cost you everything in the long run.
Real decisions look like:
Waking up on time even when your bed is cozy and tempting
Choosing meals and habits that serve your body and energy, even if they require effort
Investing in experiences, skills, or quality that elevate your life instead of short-term thrills
Setting and enforcing boundaries with people, even if they push back
Facing discomfort to do the work that moves you forward
Saying no to what doesn't align with your goals, even if it upsets people
Prioritizing faith, reflection, and alignment over easy gratification
Real decisions don't feel good in the moment. They feel hard. They feel like sacrifice. But they compound. They build. They become the foundation of the life you actually want.
You can't have both. You can't make cheap decisions and expect an expensive life.
Escapism Is Where Dreams Go to Die
Stop curating the aesthetic and start curating your choices.
The Pinterest boards are cute. The vision boards are fun. The daydreaming feels safe. But none of that is building your actual life.
Your dream life isn't going to manifest while you're lying in bed scrolling through someone else's life. It's not going to appear because you bought the right planner or the right water bottle or the right morning routine template.
Your dream life requires you to show up in your REAL life. The boring one. The uncomfortable one. The one where you have to make hard choices every single day.
It requires you to stop performing growth and start practicing it.
It requires you to stop fantasizing about the woman you'll be "someday" and start being her NOW, in the small, unglamorous, daily decisions that no one sees.
Because here's what they don't tell you: The woman living your dream life? She's making different decisions than you are right now.
She's not scrolling when she's anxious. She's not staying in situations that drain her. She's not choosing comfort over alignment. She's doing the hard thing, over and over, until it becomes her new normal.
You Have Agency Over Your Life
Let that sink in.
You get to choose. Every single day, you get to choose.
But choosing your dream life means choosing the hard thing. It means choosing the real decision over the cheap one. It means choosing yourself even when it's uncomfortable, even when people don't understand, even when the old version of you is screaming to go back to what's familiar.
This is your permission slip to stop playing small.
But it's also your wake-up call to stop playing pretend.
Your dream life is on the other side of better decisions. Not perfect decisions. Not Instagrammable decisions. Just real ones. Consistent ones. The kind that cost you something but pay you back in freedom.
You didn't come this far to keep choosing the easy way out.
You didn't survive your plot twists just to let your dreams die in your daydreams.
So stop curating the fantasy. Start curating your life.
Make the real decisions. Face the discomfort. Build the foundation.
Your dream life is waiting for you—but only if you're willing to earn it.
2024: The Year I Took Up Space—And You Should Too, Darling💋
As 2024 winds down, I can’t help but reflect on how much this year has shaped me. It’s been a year of growth, of stepping outside my comfort zone, and most importantly—of learning just how powerful community truly is. And I’m not just talking about the people around me—I’m talking about us.
This year, I set out to grow, and what I realized is that growth doesn’t happen in isolation. Yes, I had moments of personal breakthroughs, but it was through connecting with all of you—sharing, learning, and even struggling together—that I truly thrived. Every piece of advice, every conversation, every message—it’s all been part of this journey. And I am so grateful for that.
In the past, I might’ve been hesitant to share my setbacks, worried that it would make me seem less “together” than I wanted to be. But this year, I learned that failure isn’t something to hide—it’s part of the process, and the real magic happens when we share it. You all reminded me that we don’t have to be perfect to be powerful, and that together, we’re not just navigating our challenges—we’re building something bigger than ourselves.
I’ve had my fair share of doubts this year, and there were moments I didn’t know if I could push forward. But here’s the thing—I didn’t have to do it alone. Every time I felt stuck, you all were there to encourage me, to remind me that I wasn’t walking this path in solitude. Whether it was through a simple comment or a shared experience, I realized that we’re all in this together. Your support has been a game-changer.
But beyond the work and hustle, 2024 has been a year of joy in the journey. I’ve learned to embrace each step, even the messy ones, because those are the moments that make everything real. It’s about more than just reaching a goal; it’s about being present with the people who are walking alongside me. And that’s where the real growth happens—in the shared moments, the conversations, the triumphs, and even the failures.
2024 also taught me the importance of patience—with myself, with my progress, and with this community. Things don’t always unfold the way we expect, and sometimes, it feels like we’re going backward instead of forward. But this year, I came to understand that growth isn’t linear, and neither is success. We’re all on our own timelines, and that’s more than okay—that’s beautiful. There’s power in knowing that we’re moving forward, at our own pace, together.
As we move into 2025, I feel energized and hopeful about the possibilities ahead. We’ve laid a strong foundation this year, and now it’s time to build on it. Whatever comes next, I know that we are better together. Let’s keep lifting each other up, sharing our stories, and growing, side by side.
So, what about you? What has 2024 taught you? What moments are you holding onto as we step into the new year? I’d love to hear your reflections—because our growth is richer when we share it.
