theyenyen has taken a liking to a local Cobalion, opting not to challenge the Pokemon, but rather, befriend it - and defend its territory from poachers. There have been rumored sightings of a partner Pokemon - Terrakion - roaming the area, however. When she's not hanging out with Cobalion, she's out surveying the tundra, with hopes to finding more legendary Pokemon along the way.
Dynamic duo, or so they prefer. Pyroar, above all else, remains her champion, guardian, and closest Pokemon. Having deserted Team Magma, of course, makes for a rockier living on the road, but she's cleaned up, and hopes to take her team to the Elite Four some day.
bhujerban has found an excellent partner in Swellow. The Aviator Club of Kalos is known not to engage when spotting these two at the cliffs. They are incredibly formidable (and unconventional) opponents, often using ground tactics to kick up the dust some and striking from the air with record breaking precision.
BredandJam is a top Rocket executive. Being of the first operatives in Kalos, his branch off of HQ specializes in recruitment, statistics, and pokeball sales. Delphox acts primarily as security - paid in platinum credit cards and allowed the luxury of having no pokeball to retreat to.
You look like you're in a publicity shot for some sexy new drama. Very cool, man.
Maybe I am. Maybe I'm a rising star. Maybe Regina has started producing ALL the sexy new dramas. We wear parkas the whole time. That's the sex appeal.
But srsly, isn't a fucking fantastic shot? I don't even remember my cousin taking it. I keep telling her to smarten up cause she could be a great photographer or makeup artist. This might be my favourite picture of me ever.
I think you must have enough source material to describe me so... describe me.
He carried himself awkwardly, but his fake moustache was great. Too bad he was a pervert.
...
I think it's accurate?
Ok but for srs now
She'd known him years now, gone through more than one large life change with him as her confidant, but she'd never seen him before. Not really. Not face to face.He was taller than she expected, though not so tall as to look gangly or uncoordinated. Likewise his hair darker than the few photos she had of him had lead her to believe. They style, however, was exactly as she'd pictured. Originally neatly combed, bangs flicked to one side, but now tossed about by the wind. And, if his current actions were anything to go by, more than one swipe through of his fingers.
He had his glasses on, the thick framed ones she'd begun to associate with comedy clubs and crass jokes she couldn't help but laugh at. She wondered if they actually held a prescription at all, or they were just for show. Maybe he had several at home, each one for a different stage persona. She would have to go snooping when they got to his house.
It was easy to see him in full now, the medium-washed jeans, and dark blazer he'd worn in most of the photos she'd seen. His shirt was still hidden and she wondered if it was a simple button up or something a bit more ridiculous. There were purple converse on his feet, and she had to hold back at chuckle as she watched him shuffle from foot to foot. He tugged out a pocket watch, glancing at it in a way that suggested it was more there to be fiddled with than for any actual time-keeping. Almost immediately it was shoved back into his jean pocket, hand resting there for a minute before moving to smooth down his jeans and jacket. She would bet any money he was trying to get rid of any nervous energy before she arrived, hoping to look polished and unperturbed. She'd bet even more money that there were breath mints, or a stick of gum in his pocket. After all, he'd promised her a kiss nearly six years ago, and he was the type to never forget a promise.
She moved quickly and quietly around the group of tourists in front of her, glad for her short stature as she snuck up behind him. He cleared his throat slightly and she crossed her fingers that he was done shuffling as she jumped at his back, arms locking around his neck, and her own purple converse clad feet going around his waist.
It would be just like them to break their necks within five minutes of meeting each other

kinelea wanted to know:
1. Who are three of your favourite authors?
This is horribly cruel and unusual and I'm holding it against you for the rest of your life.
Jane Austen
Ami McKay
Sarah Waters
2. Who inspires you?
Jo March, Anne Shirley, Sara Crewe, Pippi Longstocking, and Mary Lennox. Because they all taught me
to be who I am regardless of what other people think
to go after what I want regardless of obstacles in my way
to let go of pride, lest I have to chop off all my hair
to show kindness even when others are cruel
to see the possibility even in the impossible
to always read the labels, lest it be currant wine and not raspberry cordial
to forgive myself even when I really really screw up
to stand up for myself and others even if it gets me in trouble or I'm afraid
to smile and cry and laugh and never give up even when things are at their worst.
3. Name one thing you hope to accomplish in the future.
Write something that changes someone's life, in however tiny a way.
4. What is your favourite season of the year?
That time right at the end of summer, as it merges into fall. The day is warm and sunny, but from dusk to dawn the air is crisp. It tastes like hot and cold, like storms and life and laying down for a nap. Big baggy sweaters and shorts.
5. Dogs or cats?
Cats.
6. Batman or Superman?
Storm.
7. What do you think your best physical feature is?
Probably my eyes or my collarbones.
8. What was your favourite toy when you were a kid?
Like toy toys? I don't really remember. I really liked skipping ropes, and my stuffed raccoon Ricky. And books. Anything with a strong leading lady.
9. How many siblings do you have, if any?
Zero.
10. Dean, Cas or Sam?
Pamela
11. What’s your favourite city you’ve ever visited?
It used to be Montreal, but now I live there for half the year so I don't think it counts.
Minneapolis for the eco-cleanliness. New York for the food. London for the connection. Paris for the feel. Barcelona for the architecture. All of the above for the shopping.

"But seriously, you have a tremendous critical awareness and a sophisticated writing style."
One of my bestest friends just said this to me when I was freaking out about school, because I have zero self-worth when it comes to my ability to succeed. Possibly the single best compliment I've ever received in my life.
