If you don't qualify for Medicaid and the lowest plan offered to you on the healthcare.gov site will cost you more than a certain percentage of your monthly income, you don't have to get insurance and you won't be fined.

2.  Who inspires you?  Jo March, Anne Shirley, Sara Crewe, Pippi Longstocking, and Mary Lennox. Because they all taught me

to be who I am regardless of what other people think

to go after what I want regardless of obstacles in my way

to let go of pride, lest I have to chop off all my hair

to show kindness even when others are cruel

to see the possibility even in the impossible

to always read the labels, lest it be currant wine and not raspberry cordial

to forgive myself even when I really really screw up

to stand up for myself and others even if it gets me in trouble or I'm afraid

to smile and cry and laugh and never give up even when things are at their worst.

3.  Name one thing you hope to accomplish in the future.   Write something that changes someone's life, in however tiny a way.

4.  What is your favourite season of the year? That time right at the end of summer, as it merges into fall. The day is warm and sunny, but from dusk to dawn the air is crisp. It tastes like hot and cold, like storms and life and laying down for a nap. Big baggy sweaters and shorts.

  5.  Dogs or cats?   Cats.

6.  Batman or Superman?  Storm. 

7.  What do you think your best physical feature is?  Probably my eyes or my collarbones.

8.  What was your favourite toy when you were a kid?  Like toy toys? I don't really remember. I really liked skipping ropes, and my stuffed raccoon Ricky. And books. Anything with a strong leading lady.

11.  What’s your favourite city you’ve ever visited?  It used to be Montreal, but now I live there for half the year so I don't think it counts.

Happy AMOK! I'm joining the trend of taking this opportunity to let some of my followers, and some of the people I follow, know how much they mean to me. 

Kinelea: Does any of this need saying? You've been my best friend for nearly a decade (can you believe it!?) and you always seem to have something good to say about me. You're neurotic and insane and ridiculous and drive me absolutely up the wall, but if I ever lost you from my life I'd be devastated. 

Indihannah-Jones: What could I possibly say about you that I haven't said before? You're fabulous. Meeting you was possibly the best thing to have come from XSGII. You're always there when I need you, and you're so incredibly talented, I'm just always proud to know you. 

Elluvias: We don't talk much anymore, but you were there for some really big landmarks in my life, and were one of the key figures in helping me come to terms with my sexuality. I think of you way more than you know, and I always hope things are good in your life.

ilurveevil: Sloths. What more needs saying? I love you to pieces, even if you're batshit crazy and come up with the most ridiculous things to say. Or maybe, because of it. You're adorable, and sweet, and 1000 times more amazing than you give yourself credit for. 

bredandjam: Where has our friendship not taken us? And I've never even met you. You're brilliant and idiotic and absolutely fabulous. You're the Rose to my Doctor, except for the days where you're the Doctor to my Rose. I'll always be your petal, and I'll always love you, you giant prat.

Lexiathan: I have spoken to you a handful of times, and you've managed to make me cry happy-tears on half of those occasions. You're incredibly encouraging and always make me feel welcomed. I may not know you well, but it's obvious to me that you're beautiful, inside and out.

Snarkpeddler: Pastries and Supernatural! You're adorable and ridiculous and our conversations never have anything resembling sanity to them, so naturally I love them. I'm going to show up in your neck of the woods again some day, and we will have fabulous adventures.

tickle-me-misha: The Spock to my Kirk. Gishwhesing with you was phenomenal amounts of fun, and I'm pretty sure I lost ten pounds from laughing at your ridiculous ideas. You're an impressive young lady, and I can't wait to see what amazing things you do with your life. I better show up in your films some day.

blow0me0cas: You are the source of about 80% of the amazing artwork, fashion, and various beautiful things that show up on my dash. You are my arch-duchess, and I'm always going to be proud of the baby we created.

machinatemporis: Superwho. You've taken my two favourite things and merged them together, and were absolutely fabulous to talk to pre-gishwhes. You're talented and creative and I love seeing you on my dash.

Heathyr: You're essentially the reason I joined tumblr. Your blog is 100% quality and I'm always awed by what an absolutely amazing person you are. You've helped me out on numerous occasions with various quests, and I just don't say thank you enough. 

boazpriestley: I read your blog, and see how much you care about other people, your kids, your work, and it gives me hope. I love seeing that there's such a strong, independent, caring person out there, and I'm always rooting for you and your kids. You're a fabulous teacher.  

searedvision: I'm stealing Winnie the Pooh here: 'You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.' Never forget it. Life can be an absolute bitch, but you'll get through it. 

fangasmic: We've spoken maybe twice, and never about anything too deep, but you've still grabbed my attention. Your blog is completely quality, and I love hearing things about your nrftw adventures, and reading the things you post. You're just brilliant. 

putout-themoon: I think you're far more fabulous than you give yourself credit for, but I really hope that changes. The majority of the stuff you post ends up liked, reblogged, commented on, or thought about by me. Things are gonna look up for you, of that I have no doubt. Keep smiling. 

ftm-castiel: This story. This freaking story. I don't know you, or anything about you, so I can't personally compliment you, but your story is absolutely brilliant. When a new piece is posted I'm always torn between gobbling it up right there, and waiting until I can take my time and enjoy it. Absolutely wonderful.
