Hiya. Sorry if this has been asked already but it’s very late and I just watched the ep (so much going on I’m still thinking and processing) but what did Nicki write on the mirror in blood? I have a big hd tv, paused it, but I still couldn’t make it out.

Also, I do not like Armand generally (he’s a great character and Assad is fantastic but I just am mad at him for what he does) but I’m surprised by how happy I was to have him back. Maybe it’s just familiarity but several eps of disliking Gabriella far more make me pleased to have the gremlin back. I guess I’ll take his brand of diabolical over hers lol. Not sure that was super coherent but seemed worth saying. Thanks in advance!

I am not sure what Nicki writes there, actually! There have been various interpretations on it, but I am not sure one of them actually fits... I hope the cast will spell it out for us at some point :)

And I mean, Armand is Armand is Armand, and as such he does bring this certain spice to it all :))) It just isn't the same without him, and I, too, am very happy to have our dearest gremlin back :))

On the topic of Magnus, I’m curious about your take on Anne’s treatment of him in the PL trilogy? It always really rubbed me the wrong way and was one of (admittedly many) choices I didn’t like or disagreed with in the last three books.

I... actually wrote a fanfic about it, a while ago, in preparation of s3, too.

I am not going to comment now on how much of it holds (or not) :)), but... my thoughts on that whole mess were poured into that fic.

But yeah, Anne... chose an interesting way there, to put it mildly. And I always felt it would have been prudent to deal with it all a bit more... in detail.

I feel like Your Biggest Fan has damaged my psyche. Like it’s so stomach churning and creepy and sad. The way Sam sings “I’m your biggest fan” and “I’ve got a bottle of wine” really stick in my head. I don’t know how I’m going to survive the visuals that go along with it. My poor, poor Lestat.

That being said, as a big Lestat fan, I’m equally excited and terrified for the season as I’m not sure I’ll be able to adequately prepare for the horrors but am beyond excited for Rockstar Lestat.

And... yes. It's hard to stomach at times, but... there is a very beautiful catharsis after it all. Which makes me cry every time I see it.

So... just know that they don't leave us hanging on that horror - but on a whole different emotion, and ... the whole season is amazing, but that bit???

Hey, could you possibly make a gif pack of Oliver Jackson-Cohen? Specifically from Emerald City, though Dracula is also okay. He has maybe 200 gifs in hunts total despite being pretty perfect. I know he's not POC, but I'd still argue he's criminally underused. Thanks!

So I was chatting with @kinelea about the gospel of Sam and Dean in Supernatural, and she remarked how scripture would be more fun if it contained bits like, “descended into fiery demonic passion”. And I pointed out that it might have, once, before several millenia of edits got to it, and that for all we knew, the whole thing was a lovers’ spat between Judas and Jesus that got out of hand and became a lot more dramatic in the re-tellings, like stories often do. And then this happened:

Jesus and Judas argued over where their relationship was going, and ended up breaking up. Judas made Jesus walk with all his stuff on his back all the way to Golgotha, where he crashed with a couple of guys he knew who were kinda shady but were cool with letting him sleep on their couch. And one of them was like, “dude, it was clearly your fault”, and the other was like, “no Jesus, I believe you, it was clearly a complex issue”. And then they got wasted and the Roman cops showed up and were all, “keep the noise down”, and Jesus was like, “do you know who my father is?” and they ended up arresting him for drunken disorderly and he spent the long weekend in the drunk tank cuz it was a holiday. Mary Magdalene came to pay his bail but he was already gone without explanation. Turns out Judas went out for a walk and felt really ashamed and admitted he'd gotten hung up on Jesus' unwillingness to commit fully even though they'd been together for years, and it had made him doubt Jesus’s love, but that he’d made a terrible mistake and wasn’t ready to give up on them. so he called the jail and paid the guard thirty pieces of silver to lose Jesus's paperwork. They went home together and Jesus was all, “I forgive you for your transgressions, Judas”, and Judas was like, “Jesus Christ, I know you're a philosophy major, but you don't need to talk like that all the time".
