There is a victory in being alive & queer. There is a victory in being happy & queer. There is victory in dying old & loved & queer.

Sometimes I sit & think about how I want to live long & die extremely old, knowing my happiness was a giant middle finger to bigots.

That said - my being happy RIGHT NOW is a middle finger to bigots. Your every breath right now is a victory even if you're NOT happy, too.

We win by existing, isn't that cool? We win by having a moment of happiness because our natural state is beautiful.

And they can't get rid of us! Ever! Because we keep being born! Queer babies are born every day! We are impossible to exterminate.

They can make our expressions illegal, they can try to hurt / kill us, they can take away our rights, but they cannot exterminate queerness.

We're beautiful. Beautiful, pissed-off cockroach motherfuckers (to borrow from @meakoopa) who are born anew every day. Here to stay.

We are beautiful and natural and eternal and victorious.

Bigots are playing a losing game. I know there's a body count as old as our species, & it's ugly & horrific & serious, but this is our Hope.

We. Aren't. Going. Anywhere.

I love you all.

No matter how you're feeling right now, in your beautiful queer heart, we all win because you exist.
