Happy New Year, everyone!
We have a few exciting things to tell you to set 2025 off with a bang!
We have a new coder, Lorien Darenya! Volk's unfortunate and sudden passing left a huge hole in our team and slowed development to a halt. But we were able to find someone just as incredible to get things back up and on track! She's currently working on the breeding system we had from Volk's original files, which will take a while but is the entire backbone of the game and is very exciting. A word from the master herself: "Welcome to the mind of a blind mother, coder, and all-around geek. This is my tagline and describes exactly who and what I am in one nice little sentence. I am thrilled to bring my skills to the table, especially, as mentioned, the breeding system. I am also very eager to answer questions you all might have, no matter the topic. So let's move forward together, in all ways!"
We have another artist, crazycat! Cat has been suggesting pelts left and right and we loved all of them. They will be working alongside Head Artist Percy to create and perfect pelts for our elaborate breeding system.
We have a little decor snippet to share: Fat Skunk! Drawn by our Junior Artist crazycat, this little fella will be available to equip to your deer. His head may or may not be slightly larger in-game.

1 Year Anniversary!
On the 19th October 2020 we opened Wolvden to the public. Today we're celebrating our 1 year anniversary - and what a year it's been!

Starting on the 22nd October, all wolves will get an extra 25% boost to their EXP from completing tasks and battling! Any activity that rewards EXP will be included in this boost, so if you're hoping for some level ups, now is the perfect time to start planning!

I came from a site called Pokéheroes.
I haven't played any gen 8 games because I don't have a Switch, so I'm not versed in anything SW/SH/don't have a particular attraction to most gen 8 mons.
I wasn't raised with LGBTQA+ stuff, though I knew of being Gay/Lesbian and thought I was Lesbian because I didn't know about Asexuality until I was an adult!
(Never acted on it, so I haven't really found what I like other than being Ace!)
Though I have also learned you can be Ace, but still want to be with someone, you can still be Bi, straight, gay, lesbian, pan, poly etc...Romantic and sexual love are two different things!
So I'm Ace sexually, but may be Bi or Lesbian romantically, if that makes a lick of sense!
So pardon me if I'm a little old fashioned with some things/misgender stuff.
I'm good with the sexuality stuff for the most part, but most other things make my head spin!
Also, I CAN get aggressive, so if I "roar in your face", I usually mean no harm/don't take it personally!
I have trouble wording things, and have less of a filter when tired as well.
I usually don't tag stuff unless its my post/the previous person had a TW on there, it will fluctuate, and I usually prefer to re-blog with a comment in the comments section to using tags if I have something to say.

Introducing - Feliquest!

Feliquest is an upcoming browser-based game focused on building your own clowder of genetically accurate feral cats. Featuring gorgeous habitats to explore and build your home in, an expansive tile-based patrol system, a setting with its own rich lore, and helpful NPCs to guide your paws. Feliquest aims for a fun, casual gameplay experience and a friendly, inclusive community of people to interact with.

This project is being developed by Cryptofelis Studios, a three person team consisting of our head programmer, Avery, head artist, Trey, and publicist, Quinn. Currently only a few months in development, our current focus is setting up a cat creator demo featuring a few of the colors and markings that will be available on launch. While the demo will be in a slightly different style than the official game art for now, it will allow us to get a head start on designing our layering system and better figuring out our code, as well as additionally giving you something fun to play with as we work! Above is a better, albeit still early, example of what the final art will resemble, a more stylized look with softer lines.

If you’d like to support this game, the most helpful thing to do right now is just spread the word- while we plan to host a kickstarter eventually, we aren't quite ready to do that yet- we'd like to set a few more things up first, and until then, building interest is most important.
