I haven't read the manga yet but I was planning on starting it this week! These kids have grown on me really fast so I definitely want their happiness ;_; I love Kayo pls be safe

You definitely should start reading it, when you have the time, of course!SAME HERE aa a aaAAaaaa!! Satoru’s unwavering determination to befriend and save her is the most beautiful thing. I want Kayo to just. Be safe and free and adopted into a family who love her unconditionally.

I haven’t watched any of the other winter season anime that just started airing but from looking at various plot overviews I can honestly say that?? It looks like Erased rly takes the cake?? AAAAAAAAAAAA GOSH WE’RE. PROBABLY GONNA BE A MESS AFTER THIS IS OVER. WON’T WE

could you talk more about 'erased'? Is it a VN? I loved higurashi so much and if there's something else like it then I DEFINITELY want to partake. What's it like?

Erased (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) is an anime that only just began airing earlier this month! The protagonist is a struggling 29-year old mangaka named Satoru Fujinuma, who has a unique ability which enables him to travel back in time (usually between 1-5 minute(s)) to prevent accidents and deaths from occuring. Towards the end of the first episode, he gets caught up in an incident involving someone close to him and is framed as a murderer. Unexpectedly to him, he gets sent ALL THE WAAAAAY BACK to 1988, to prevent this from happening. I’M NOT GONNA SAY ANY MORE BUT. SERIAL KIDNAPPING CASES. RE-LIVING YOUR CHILDHOOD. TRYING TO SAVE THE PEOPLE YOU HOLD MOST DEAR. FIGHTING AGAINST FATE. and. we’re probably, definitely gonna see some Higurashi-esque time-resets. Yep.

AND I’m exactly the same. Anything that reminds me of Higurashi will more than often cause me to become emotionally invested right off the bat. I would definitely recommend Erased. The first episode goes a little slow, but the pace definitely picks up towards the end of it and things really start to come into bloom in the second and third episodes. Episode 4 will air this friday!

(There is also a manga, which I never knew about! It’s much further ahead than the anime and currently has 7 volumes out so far!!)
