If you don’t see that bullet-ridden car and realize that something very bad is happening (and has been happening) in America, and it is directly related to race and racism (although it is also a class issue, and an issue with ignorant and violent thugs AKA police), then you too are suffering from the disease of racism and the disease of privilege. We are all effected by these diseases on some level or another, and we all have work to do if things are going to change.
