Brian + Tim headcanons
not particularly platonic or romantic, you can see it however you want
Nobody has any idea when or how they met, because every time someone asks, they change the story.
Brian can easily tell when Tim's anxiety is high and will check on him to make sure he's okay when he feels it.
At one point pre-Marble Hornets, Tim was working as a barista at a cafe for a couple weeks, and when Brian would come visit him, Tim would purposely misspell Brian's name on his cup to annoy him as a joke.
Both of them know how to work the other through panic attacks. Tim's panic attacks are basically him curling up in a ball, crying and coughing, so Brian will hold him and walk him through breathing exercises. Brian on the other hand will usually have his standing up and spacing out, and struggling to breathe, and Tim will run over and hold him up since Brian will often crumble to the ground after a bit.
Both of them were close friends with Sarah and the three were basically like a trio.
Tim is a picky eater and when there is food on his plate that he doesn't like, he'll just pick it off and give it to either Brian or Jay.
Tim is an introvert, and Brian is an extrovert.
Tim has anger issues and Brian is his impulse control.
Brian hates that Tim smokes and constantly nags him about, same with Seth and Jay.
Brian looks like a tree next to Tim.

Tim has some chronic pain in his legs every now and then, and when he does, Brian will just straight up carry him on his back.

INTERVIEW
Ok so I'm going to ask you questions and you need to answer as a couple. Alright, ready?
BRIAN
Um, ok ?..
TIM
I never agreed to this.
INTERVIEWER
What is something you did for each other that you thought was exceptionally kind or thoughtful?
BRIAN
Infecting my life with a monster.
TIM
Publishing my private medical papers.
BRIAN
Stalking me.
TIM
Stalking me!
BRIAN
Chasing me in the woods!
TIM
Stealing My Medication!
BRIAN
PUSHING ME OUT THE WINDOW!
They get closer and closer to each other and more up in each other's faces.
They break out smiling and giggling like idiots.
INTERVIEWER
What’s your greatest strength as a couple?
TIM and BRIAN
This.
INTERVIEWER
What is something small that you do daily for each other to make your life better?
BRIAN
I handle most of the conversation with the boss.
TIM
And I put out the meds in the morning so he doesn't forget to take them.
INTERVIEWER
What makes our relationship better than other relationships?
TIM
We understand.
BRIAN
After all the shit we've been through? You seriously think anyone would get what happened?

BRIAN
Doesn't get much closer than demonic possession

What kind of memories do you want to make together?
TIM
Better ones.

What do you think the most essential thing in a successful relationship is?
BRIAN
Trust.

What’s your favorite way to spend time together?
BRIAN
Just sleeping in the same bed
TIM
Relaxing, playing music.
What’s your favorite gift you’ve given each other?
BRIAN
My hoodie

I don't know. He isn't really much of a gift type more just spending time

Where do you want to live when you retire?
TIM
I'd just like to retire!
BRIAN
But if we could maybe a beach, the ocean. Far away from any trees!

In what areas do you think our personalities complement each other?
TIM
He’s a softy.
BRIAN
And your a hardass.
TIM (sarcastic) Your a ray of sunshine.
BRIAN
Your a grump.
TIM
Your an idiot .
BRIAN
Jay’s an idiot.
TIM
Yeah your right Jay is an idiot.

How well do you think you communicate?
BRIAN
Better than most
TIM
I don't think our relationship would survive otherwise.
INTERVIEWER
What adventure would you like to go on?
TIM
None! No more adventures! I just want to settle down and be fine!

What do you think the hardest thing about marriage/being in a relationship is?
TIM
For normal people or us? Most people don't have to deal with this sort of…
BRIAN
Lifestyle.
TIM
Yeah… besides that I'd say he tends to put his temper ahead of actual discussion.
BRIAN
And he likes to act all high and mighty about things.
INTERVIEWER
What is each of your roles in the relationship?
They look at each other for a moment before glaring at the interviewer
BRIAN
If you're asking who the girl is I will break your neck
INTERVIEWER
What would be a deal breaker for your relationship, something you couldn’t forgive?
TIM
At this point there isn't much. We're stuck together no matter what and it's not always the best relationship to begin with so there's nothing that's really off limits.
BRIAN
Even if we try having limits they'll just get broken so yeah… we don't care.
INTERVIEWER
What makes you different than other couples?
Brian and Tim are silent for a moment
BRIAN AND TIM
Demons!!!
TIM
Also split personalities pretty sure those aren't normal.
INTERVIEWER
What do you think would be the best way to strengthen your relationship?
TIM
Just keeping strong and talking
BRIAN
We need to confide in each other, there isn't anyone else.
INTERVIEWER
What are some of your relationship goals?
BRIAN
To keep each other sane.
TIM
Or at least as sane as possible.
INTERVIEWER
How realistic do you think couples in movies and TV are?
BRIAN
Eh…
TIM
To be fair I don't think we're the best judges of what's realistic or normal.
INTERVIEWER
What does a happy and healthy relationship look like to you?
TIM
Not this. But if I had to answer it's be two people who understand each other an a deep emotional level and at least see each other regularly. They go on dates every once in a while but it never has to be too fancy because it's about each other. They have a good sense of humor together and compliment each other's personality. And even when they fight they always come together to cuddle by the fire again. Because in the end they are all each other need…
BRIAN

TIM
Whatever
INTERVIEWER
Do you eventually want to have children?
TIM
Um no!!
Brian is frozen in place confused.
TIM
Other than the whole demon thing we are gay! How do you think that'll work?! We're just gonna walk into an adoption center and walk out with a kid? We have criminal records, severe mental illness, and no address how the hell??? No no no! Never!
Brain takes a while to respond
