These lines devasting for other reasons. (Hotel dusk is THE game about grief to me.) but I love just how in this prewritten letter Bradley just knew that Kyle is the type of man to hunt him down cross country, perfectly follow his bread trail to an obscure California hotel, and could bet that even after finding this letter and the entire truth, he'd still need to be told to let go and move on. He just knew what he needed to hear, and the state he would be in when he read this, and that he would even read this one day at all. Bradley loves Kyle enough to know that he'd let himself be haunted and Kyle loves Bradley enough to know how to follow him down to this exact letter hidden. They understand each other so deeply they can predict and communicate 2 years and miles, if not states, in-between them ...they were partners, you see

Just finished a replay of Hotel Dusk and holy shit, Bradley was out here playing 5D chess

Like he had to lay the groundwork six months in advance and also trust that he knew Kyle’s skill set enough to be able to solve the puzzle without the ability to give him hints if he was struggling, and he never could have accounted for things like Louis or Iris, who were also connected to the situation, albeit on the periphery, and just trust that the chips would fall where they may and he would be able to figure it out.

Kinda makes you wonder if this was his first attempt to guide Kyle to the answer or if he had left bread crumbs for him on other jobs, this is just the first time he actually solved the puzzle.
