Brian Fitzy “Cocktails?”
A series of covers that are elegantly arranged in a folky, country and jazz style. The vocal lines are all replaced by a highly talented violin composition. Seriously unlike anything else anyone will even attempt! Pretty amazing stuff here and while they’re not original songs the way they’re put together will have you looking at these tracks in a whole new way!

The Cats “Grave Desecrator + 4″
Garage oriented punk rock that has fun written all over it! Raw and unrelenting this EP hits hard with no apologies and will have your head nodding from the first to last note! Sounds like a complete live recording from someone’s basement and I wouldn’t want to listen to it any other way.

Little Tyrant “S/T”
Super catchy acoustic driven indie, emo rock that is amazingly melodic and has some great vocal lines. The songs range from really exciting to some really chill melodies. Overall, the vocals mixed with the acoustic guitar in the mix go perfectly together and the song writing sets the whole album over the top!

Brian Fitzy Covers Walk the Moon's "Shut Up & Dance"
Whether you’re a fan of the song or not, it’s definitely one that will get stuck in your head for days as it’s catchiness is undeniable! Walk The Moon did a pretty good job of writing a hit song, but that’s not what this post is about at all. Brian Fitzy, a super talented multi-instrumentalist and composer in the Philly scene, did this entire song by looping all of the parts! He did beatboxes the drums, throws in a tambourine hit and obviously plays acoustic guitar while switching between looped settings in accordance to the song’s various parts. This all culminates to one of the most epic violin solos I think I’ve ever heard. I mean, it’s like 80’s sports montage epic! If you’re looking for a great cover / instructional video on how to use a looping pedal, definitely press play now! If you’re just a fan of music in general, still press play because Brain Fitzy’s makes this rendition of this song his own in a multitude of different ways! Check out more of Brain’s music below:
