12. How you met the person you fell hardest for.

Similar interests, lived in the same place. Nothing epic.

oops I just realised I didnt draw an update last week, my bad! I’ve been focused on cleaning up at home and spending some time with my friends so I completely forgot. I should have an update up soon

So, some years ago when I talked about sealing the windows at my drafty old apartment, my then-boyfriend told me he had a hairdryer I could use (I did not).  And when I cocked my head at him quizzically and asked why, he looked away and sort of side stepped the question.

Logically, I assumed it was Another Woman’s Hairdryer.

But it is a useful thing to have around and it was never a big deal, so whatever.  It’s four years later, we’re married, and we just sealed our drafty old house’s windows (10/10 excellent decision) and it comes out that no woman but me has ever left appliances at his home, and he bought that hairdryer to do science tricks with ping pong balls.  He just thought it was too early in our relationship to expose me to that much geekery lest I run away.

Four years of occasional mild jealousy have been entirely for nought and I feel silly, but I have learned a lot about the aerodynamic principals of little plastic balls today.
