One Heart Beating for Two
I wanted to attempt to realistically explore what happens when a man for whom image is everything realizes that it has all been nothing more than smoke and mirrors. How would he deal with coming to terms with the feelings he’s always hidden—how could he let himself fall in love with a man.
It is written as a trilogy.
Smoke and Mirrors: Still the illusion, but the smoke thins when he meets a tall dark Irishman in a pub who understands because he’s been through it himself. He finally feels safe to be himself and it is wonderful. Mitchell, being Mitchell…falls in love.
Blowing Away the Smoke: There is a tree limb to score and things to think about. There is also a giddy freedom that comes from being so far from home and becoming his own man. A layover in London proves to be both wonderful and terrifying as these two men learn about one another and about themselves.
Shattering the Mirrors: The return home alone, lost, confused…things learned are too easily forgotten. Two men, half a world apart, desperately missing one another, neither understanding what is happening. Anders is sinking rapidly. Fortunately for him he has friends who are going to fight for him and a man who loves him very much. Everything must change. The mirrors show illusion, not reality. Some things must be shattered before they can be remade. Sometimes lives are one of them.
It is rated Explicit for a reason.
