ok i think i actually do feel confident enough to share some of my public object crushes now (the personal ones will come when im even more confident lol) so uhhhh here gaze upon my beloveds
brooklyn bridge: she is so beautiful and majestic to me. she carries thousands of lives daily without issue or complaint. she will never know who i am because she's just so much bigger than me and i don't mind at all. when i ride the train over the manhattan bridge i always look out the window for her
verazzano-narrows bridge: HELLOOO HANDSOME!! i have a lot of nostalgic memories with this guy and i love standing in various parts of brooklyn and being like omg i can see him from here! it's a v comforting presence
jolly rancher remix at hersheypark + tron lightcycle run at wdw: these are kinda going together because both of these coasters absolutely rocked my shit the first time i rode them and still kinda do lol. i love the dazed and surprisingly light way they leave me feeling after riding them. also the big shell structure thing on tron is so pretty like omg
mta work trains: there are a handful of variants of these guys depending on their functions and i think i hold them all in equal reverence. they're always accompanied by this low hum that the regular trains don't make and you always hear before you see them. oftentimes they have rly bright headlights and often only appear at night or in certain stations that are more easily accessible to them so seeing them is usually unexpected and slightly intimidating but always a treat. sometimes you see them "asleep" on the tracks which is equally creepy and cool lol. all of these things are nonbinary to me
palisades center mall: this has always been a Drive for my family but this has also always been the best mall from my childhood. this place is huge and once had a rainforest cafe, a carousel, and currently hosts a movie theater, rock climbing/i-beam walking, a comedy club, and still has its iconic ferris wheel in its food court which i took a picture of last time i visited (i can't find it now orz, will update if i do but here's a generic pic in the meantime):
this place was also Almost the host of the second wannado city location!! i went there a handful of times as a kid who had family in florida and i wanted one here so BAD lol. rip wannado 😔❤️
ok this post has officially gotten away from me and idk how to end it. thank u for reading like and subscribe
