Got myself a used krytac upper, installed a spr outer barrel, and a daniel defense mk12 rail. Cool thing is that my krytac uppers fit my hk m27 iar lower so i essentially have 4 different uppers (including the m27) that it can use. A little gun update. So I decided to buy the g&p flashlight handguard for my G&G Pm5a5 because I like the way it looks compared to the stock handguard/rail. Upon getting the handguard I dremeled out the two small tabs inside towards the back to allow it to fit to the gun. After that I tried fitting my 9.6 nimh batteries in only to find out that they don't fit due to the lack of space. I know what some of you may be thinking: "Just buy a lipo", BUT instead i went with a cheaper option. I took some velcro added a strip to the left side of the handguard and another to a flashlight pouch I had from my nitecore p12, then using some leftover velcro straps from my qoreperformance ice plates, I was able to thread through the pouch and over the top to keep it secure. I can now fit the 9.6 nimhs in the pouch, feed the wires through the space in the back of the handguard, and with the added velcro strips/straps it doesn't move at all. I had a good time with it and one of my favorite interactions with a player that day was Town police: "Sir we need to conduct a field sobriety test!"
