no matter where you are
you can always find a bright spot
This year was so hard for me mentally, emotionally, and physically. And when things got tough I turned to art to escape it all. The following writers are just a few of the writers who helped save me from myself. Thank you for sharing your talent when you didn’t have to and when 2020 was awful to us all.

Anyways, s/o to the fan artist who fucking called The Admiral being a Predator. I'm sure there was more than one of you and if I looked through my own tags hard enough I could find the one I'm thinking of but I'm lazy and just assume I'm thinking about you and appreciating you.
I wanted to share a bright spot on this #quarantine Tuesday with all of you. This is my friend JP. He’s been my neighborhood’s UPS man for as long as I can remember. He’s one of my favorite people to see at my front door, or on the road when I’m walking my dogs. He’s full of joy and always has a great big “hello!” to offer, which never fails to result in a huge smile from residents. Last week I spent two days cooking more chicken stew — and cooking down 24 hour bone broth — than I can keep track of. I froze mason jars of it, and have been distributing it to neighbors and neighborhood essential workers like my main man right here. Today I finally got to see JP and give him his soup and broth. It’s a small act of kindness, within my control in an out of control world. Cooking and serving reminded me that we can steer our own ships at any time. So. Whatever way you might be able to extend yourself to a neighbor, a friend, or an essential worker today, I encourage you! Love ya, JP! • *and because I know people will ask, we kept our distance! He ducked behind me for our pic (to send my mom) and for whatever reason the wide angle makes us look much closer than we were! But never fear! I also gave him his jars wrapped in Clorox wipes, so many precautions were taken! Love the concern, tho ♥️*
this one has really helped me improve my nap game

Today was a really good day. I love when I get to see my people, & I love when new people are added into the mix & really, really gel. I am extremely grateful for my little found family, as offbeat as it may seem. May we continue to grow & improve for the better.
