🍊 Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Serum Review 🍌 Influenster sent over this serum to try, and I have been using it for the last 4 weeks. The serum is powered by 15% vitamin C (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) and 5% PHA to help even skin tone and texture and Hyaluronic Acid to plump and hydrate. It claims to brighten, firm, and plump with visible results in 7 days. My experience: the serum is a nice texture that played well with others in my routine. It is fragranced like citrus, but the scent dissipates once applied. I try to avoid fragrance in my skincare, so that was a downside for me. After immediate application I do find it gives a smoothing, soft-blurring effect which is nice in the morning. I did experience breakouts while using this - you can see the middle picture in the third slide there are large cystic bumps on my cheek, which then created their own hyperpigmentation. Those emerged at about the 1 week mark, but it has been smooth sailing since. The brand claims visible results in 7 days, but even after 4 weeks I’m not sure they are *super* visible. I think my tone and texture has improved, but not so much the hyperpigmentation. Scroll to see the results. Slide two shows the right side of my face and slide three shows the left. The photos on the left were taken April 15, the centre photos were April 28, and the photos on the right were today, May 13. What do you think? Do you see a difference? Today I want to tell you that the consistency in the routines are what make the differences. I have never been to a spa 🧖‍♀️ and I honestly don't think I will. So as a housewife, I want to help take care of my skin from my possibilities. And with this I tell you, YES YOU CAN. You can do a lot for your skin from the comfort of your home. I took a photo on the first day I used it and another after using it for 7 days and I can certainly see an overall brightening effect. After a frustrating morning (see my stories) I’m ready to brighten up the day!
