Brightmarsh, leader of Marshclan, finds his home among the birch trees of the southern wetlands. Like all the past leaders of his clan, he served as a second until it was his time to lead. He teaches his clanmates the importance of respecting each other as well as respecting the land they live on, a land of which they have a strong bond with. Other clans see them as undisciplined due to their comparatively lax rules, but Marshclan cats know that compassion should come before control.
Brightmarsh is the most relaxed of all the leaders. He wants nothing more than to keep the peace and for everyone to get along. This makes him a great leader until is has to face the harsh reality that Shadeclan and Stormclan can be quick to argue and quicker to wage war. His compassionate nature makes him reluctant to fight, even if it’s the smart choice. On the other hand this allows for a close relationship with neighbouring clan, Echoclan and their leader Smallecho, who share some of his views. He is passionate about nature and using its resources carefully as well as being the best father he can be.
