Hey guys,
I've just got back from a few days away in my favourite place Brighton. I love spending time by the seaside and it's crazy that a hour and a half train ride can you take somewhere that is the total opposite of London.
It is the most chilled out place to spend time in and surprisingly the weather was so hot during the day I had to pack dresses and slap on a lot of SPF for my fair skin. It was the perfect getaway because we literally just chilled out a few days and mainly just had picnics on the beach and ignoring my phone! When I have time off work I will literally turn off my work emails, and just ignore my phone. Whenever I go to Brighton it's the one time I am the most relaxed so I always try to bring a book with me because I am way more likely to read and not be glued to my phone.
The beach was beautiful, the new eatery spots are gorgeous with yummy menus and honestly I was living my best life. Every time I go to Brighton the second I get off the train and see the beach I instantly relax, it's like all the stress, drama and everything just floats away and I love that feeling. It honestly lifts my mood so anytime I feel like I need a break we pack our bags and go Brighton. Ironically while I was on the beach reading my Harry Potter book I was getting a million ideas for blog posts so the trip definetly did me the world of good.
Tomorrow I will be back with a makeup post so take today as your sign to relax, curl up and watch a movie or read a book and just relax.
Lots of love

In “A Little More” detail...
The video Tim Larcombe & I have put together to accompany my latest single “A Little More” is largely made up of footage I took over the last 18 months or so during our time writing and recording together.
Lots of the footage was recorded on my iPhone, as I travelled between Brighton (where producer Tim’s studio is) and my home in Suffolk, back to Brighton, and back to Suffolk... over and over again weekly, for the most part of a year. Some of the video snippets were taken on Tim’s Canon 5D Mark II. It isn’t hard to tell which is which!
The video is bookended by footage recorded by Tim in Brighton, during which I play the introduction of the song live on the studio Bentley upright before the recording itself takes over. The colour-block frames, which punctuate the video, are designed to be reflective of the line “I might just black out for a while”.
As some of the footage included is very fragmented, fleeting, or might just seem fairly obscure, I thought I’d provide a bit of a run-down of exactly what’s what, in case there were any parts that left you wondering:
