Hugo was quick to get everything wrapped up, the stab wound wasn’t as bad as it probably should have been, so it’d be fine. He had plenty of experience patching up injuries in a hurry.

“That should do it, might wanna stay off that for awhile.”

Which meant their entire quest was going to take even longer then it already had, and some part of Hugo was very, very annoyed by that. But he hid it well behind a teasing smile, holding out the admittedly cool knife that Varian had wanted enough to get stabbed for.

“Hope the knife is worth it.”

      Ever since the youngest prince was granted with his new powers,  he’d been introducing himself to every animal he’d come across,  big or small,  not matter the shape or color.   But when he came across the frantic raccoon whom he’d bumped into,  something couldn’t help but seem off   ...   so he listened,  understood what had happened,  and spent the rest of the day searching for a certain someone.

Sure enough,  once he’d found the raccoon’s owner,  a small tug against his leg was given to earn his attention.   “ Excuse me,  does this little guy belong to you?  He says he’s been looking for you, ”   came his voice,  making sure to lift up the critter he’d held onto for the past while for him to get a closer look.

     fingers trembling as iida had just woken up from one of the worst nightmares he’s had since the incident in hosu. seeing the blood on the ground still vividly in the dream, and his brother’s face contorted gruesomely--telling him that he wasn’t worthy of being his predecessor, that he didn’t deserve to use the name ingenium, iida couldn’t take this on his own.

        “ ron -- this is a major overreaction. it’s really not that big of a deal -- it’s just taco bell. i wanted to try.. something new! ”    not to mention, bueno nacho had stopped their  hablamos salad special, much to her chagrin. she’d been enjoying not having to eat nacos and tacos and chimirito’s. all the time. bueno nacho was great, sure.. but she liked to mix it up a little sometimes.       “ we were getting takeout at home ---- mom and dad were working late, and.. well.. the tweebs and i thought it might be nice to try some taco bell. they do salads full time there! super delish! ”     she reached out, taking hold of the ‘evidence’ between her thumb and forefinger, tossing it over into the trash. 

     “ this doesn’t mean i like bueno nacho any less, you know. it’s still our place, and even then, it’s just.. you know.. a restaurant. “

            regardless   of   that   ,      ercole   COULDN’T   DENY   how   the   question   perplexed   him.      why   did   HE   care   ?         (      HE   was   the   one   who   RUINED   his   life.      )         the   concern   had   STIFFENED   ercole   some   more   ,      SHIFTING   in   his   seat   uncomfortably   as   he      GLANCED      the   boy   up   and   down.      a   SCOWL   present      ――      but   he   BURIES   violence.      for   now.      he   WASN’T   okay   ,      and   luca   should   know   EXACTLY   why.      losing   the   cup   brought      MORE      DAMAGE      to   his   life   than   just   paining   his   ego.      did   luca   KNOW   this   ?      was   he   MOCKING   ercole   ?      of   course.      there   was      NO      CHANCE      he’d   let   luca   in   THAT   easy.

ALRIGHT, FAM. LET’S START THIS THING OFF WITH MR. HUBERT DUCK. 

@briilliance writes such a lovely Huey. They are so good at nailing down his dialogue and the way he loves and cares for his brothers while still being a Little Shit himself. I can always hear Huey’s voice in their writing and you can really tell how much Alex loves Huey and I love that for Alex! Alex is also one of the people I have known the longest on this hellsite and I treasure our friendship with all my heart!!!

@tunnagan has made me feel things about Huey and I cry about this little red duckling on the daily. We do a lot on discord that hasn’t reached tumblr but basically the development Bex has given to Huey is SO GOOD, like ... I adore this baby boy baby. 

@dollhousemuses has a wonderful Huey as well, and I would die for the Fluffy Boi!!! Doll has put so much into Huey and I get super excited any time they talk about him bc you can tell how much Doll loves him and it is adorable.

@familymade I love love love LOVE LOVE Aelin’s Dewey so much!!! When they first started writing him in our discord server I was just immediately blown away at how they seemed to just nail down how Dewey is. They dewey it fantastically. We love and cherish Aelin’s Dewey in this house. That is son shaped! 

@calvinsmuses Another amazing Dewey who is just full of love and just thinks dads are neat. The chaos is real and I get so excited every time Calvin puts Dewey on the dash, that is the Good Kush. 

LOUIE TIME 

@voidfcllen y’all... I love Zak with all my gay little heart. She understands Louie like nothing I’ve ever seen and we’ve done so much in the way of developing his relationship with Della. We’ve worked out so much with the two of them and I always look forward to when I get to write with Zak. They’re also just an amazing friend and I wouldn’t trade her for the w o r l d. 

@decanard Lexi’s Louie is literally so adorable and they have so many different au’s, it’s WILD and I love seeing every single one of them on my dash. I’m always just waiting with some popcorn whenever Lexi posts and they’re so much fun to talk to!! They’re so FULL of ideas and it excites me whenever I get a message saying ‘so I have an idea’ even if it also gives me Fear. Anyway, I love Lexi. 

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST I HAVE TO SPECIAL MENTION @warraigoe because HARI’S TRIPLETS MAKE ME SO HAPPY LIKE!!! i can’t just pick ONE of them to compliment sO WE’RE GONNA GO W ALL OF THEM. Like, Hari’s Huey is such a sweetie, and I literally have a cute ask I need to answer. But, anyway onto Dewey; Hari’s Dewey is one of the very first Dewey’s I interacted with, so he is very very special to me anD LOUIE!!!! A BABY BOY BABY!!! My Dewey looks at Hari’s Louie and just cling to the lil bro!!! I love how Hari manages to bring a uniqueness to each triplet that I can’t really describe?? But I love any time I get to interact w them. I JUST.. RLY LOVE HARI OKAY
