@voidfcllen liked this post for a starter.
paris. while itsuki had never been here before he had looked into various points of interest that could prove interesting to visit during their trip. while the rest of the brigade had went to unpack their things and explore what there was to do nearby their hotel, itsuki opted to take a walk through the city to visit the places they were planning to see later on in the trip. it was probably for the best to examine these places beforehand- lest there be something unaccounted for that would make things difficult for them.
he didn’t have access to as many as his resources as he normally would now that they were outside of japan. while there were a few members of the agency assisting with the trip, a majority of this was landing on his shoulders. as per usual. what would they do if a closed space were to open up? or if some supernatural phenomena decided to interrupt their stay? would haruhi be pleased with the schedule he made? what if things were thrown off course...?
lost in his thoughts, his internal stressors grow and grow. he’s held in these worries for a long time now. life as an esper was no easy feat- and to be the one chosen to be so close to haruhi only added to the pressure. while all these worries seemed (mostly) mundane on the surface, to itsuki each one meant the potential end of the world. in a literal sense.
and to top it all off... a lack of acknowledgement for his efforts. all of wish are simply shrugged off by the other members, if mentioned at all. what a bother all of this was.
as the esper walks, he finds himself unaware of the dark, purple butterfly that begins to flutter towards him from behind.
