Emily had been traveling through the universe for what seemed like forever to find the Doctor after he had dropped her out of the TARDIS in her old form, as a sonic screwdriver. For the beginning of her "flesh-life" as she called it she was determined to reunite with the form that dropped her, the 11th Doctor. But by this point she just wanted any of this fors to be with. She now found herself on a park bench on earth in a place called "San Francisco". It seemed almost impossible to be in the right time and space to find the Doctor. But soon a man approached her at her park bench from behind.
