the post from disney china was deleted? why? nothing was spoilered. the wedding is easy to guess, and the mysterious new character can be anyone.

I'm not the source, it's something I've read on reddit...but apparently it was deleted.

I guess it was too soon to spoil stuff, maybe?

Or maybe they wanted a direct approach to HOW to share it? The wording was a bit weird, IMO.

It looked like Anna was going to marry Elsa (not complaining tho)

and while we got the Anna storyline spoiled...there was nothing for Elsa. So...maybe they want to "do it again" in the future.

If Frozen 3 brings Elsa back as queen of Arendelle, I already know there’s going to be a lot of fans crying this “undoes the point/development of Frozen 2!”…as if Frozen 2’s ending doesn’t go against the first movie…Frozen 1 was literally about Anna and Elsa reconnecting after 13 years of separation how do you miss that.

And please don’t give me “time passed so Elsa changed by the time the next movie” because that exact same excuse can be used for Frozen 3 hypothetically undoing it if it also takes place years later. If you use that defense for Frozen 2 don’t complain about Frozen 3 if it undoes Frozen 2’s ending.

Like- don't blame me and people who love the sisters? Because it's so rare for Disney to focused more on familial love especially sisters love and Frozen starts that thing.

If they gonna turn it into another cliché romance....I'm leaving.

Context

Context for choice 4.

Hans finds the last piece to the mirror that has corrupted his heart and finds a world that has been completely taken over by the endless winter. In this universe, Anna never got the chance to save Elsa so she fully embraced her status as the snow queen. Hans tells her that there's a universe where Anna is still alive and Elsa plans an invasion.

Meanwhile, the real Elsa catches wind of this and has to find a way to stop them. Hans chooses to side with the real Elsa and Anna and sends Evil Elsa back.

Frozen 3 would be a political drama about Arendelle facing an imminent war against the rest of the world. As the Duke of weselton created a council of nations who are plotting to destroy Arendelle and more specifically Elsa and the other elementals. The duke has also caused a coup in the southern isles and put Hans in power so that they could have the isle’s navy.

With their combined strength they would impose a treaty on the relatively weak Arendelle and force them to either contain Elsa and make her stop using all her magic and destroy all magic related creatures IE the trolls and Olaf. Elsa, unable to go through with these demands consult Anna who is very conflicted. After some back and forth Elsa gets angry and leave to prepare to attack the united world navy with the rest of the elemental creatures.

Anna will then have to race against time to negotiate with the other nations as Elsa and the navy get closer to fighting. Now due to it being a Disney film I think Elsa will have to miracoulsy not kill anyone while the fighting the potentially hundreds of battleships firing cannons at her and the water horse thing but it would be cool. They could let the lizard thing burn the gunpowder and force the ship to sink while gale and the golems could eliminate enemy soldiers.

so I’ve been thinking about how angry I was for Elsa not attending Anna’s coronation, and it turns out I was a bit mislead. The ending of f2 wasn’t really her Anna’s coronation (to my understanding). it was Anna’s epilogue; as well as the opening ceremony for Agnarr and Iduna’s statue. so it wasn’t really a coronation I guess? here in the f2 art book, it’s stated as Anna’s epilogue outfit. I’m guessing the ending was supposed to be her coronation but they changed it. even though Anna’s epilogue was really to show Iduna and Agnarr’s statue, why wasn’t Elsa there? it’s her parents as well. this just confuses me. I’m assuming if it was her coronation, Elsa wouldn’t miss it. because they’re sisters.

BUT. it wasn’t her coronation after all. It was her epilogue to celebrate her role as new queen of Arendelle by presenting Iduna and Agnarr’s statue. why would Elsa miss it? I’m unsure. But for the films sake, Elsa wasn’t there (🙄) to show how Elsa doesn’t live in Arendelle anymore-but in the enchanted forest/Atohollan. I like to imagine she lives in Atohollan rather in the forest surrounded by people she barely knows. or, she still lives in her home aka Arendelle with her sister. (Also when it comes to relatives, she’s not related to anyone from the Northuldra bc in DS, it’s revealed that Iduna comes from another Northuldra tribe. her parents were murdered and the Northuldra tribe we see in the film took her in. i know she doesn’t have to be related to them bc the Northuldra is their mothers people.)

this doesn’t change how upset I am at the fact elsa wasn’t there for an important moment for her sister and her people. but, her lack of presence doesn’t mean Elsa doesn’t love her sister or her old kingdom. I get it that Elsa is more introverted, but I don’t think crowds were an issue for her. At the end of Frozen, Frozen fever, and Olafs frozen adventure-Elsa is MORE than comfortable with the citizens of Arendelle in crowds. It just out of character for Elsa (like many things in f2). I just wish she was with Anna.
