Jennifer Lee And Trent Correy Hint Anna And Kristoff Wedding For "Frozen III" During "Disney+ Insider: World Of Frozen" Documentary
Wedding bells will soon be ringing for Anna and Kristoff in Frozen 3. This was confirmed by Jennifer Lee and Trent Correy during the new documentary "Disney+ Insider: World Of Frozen".
While giving audiences a sneak peek of Disneyland Paris World of Frozen, Frozen 3 co-director and writer Jennifer Lee says to an actress dressed as Anna, "We hear there are big wedding plans happening." Anna replies, "Oh, yes! I'm so excited."
Lee's co-director, Trent Correy, asks Anna if she is doing most of the planning, and she clarifies that "Olaf said he likes to be in charge of all the party planning in Arendelle, and he told us that him and Kristoff had been planning a really big surprise for the Snowflower Festival. "
"Frozen III" opens on theaters worldwide, Thanksgiving 2027.
I… really want Frozen III to bring back the duets
For The First Time In Forever and the Reprise were some of my favourite shit from Frozen I and it's absent in Frozen II
I don't really care what people think of Frozen II story-wise but I think the Lopezes overall did generally improve when it came to solo songs, though Let It Go is still an earworm, yet the duets were notably… not there in Frozen II. No, Into The Unknown does not count, neither does Show Yourself, because those are both vocalisations in pair with singing, that's not duet. The closest thing to a duet was Lost In The Woods and that's Kristoff having schizophrenia. I wouldn't count Some Things Never Change either because the overlapping lyrics are mainly ensemble, not duet.
We did nearly have a duet with Get This Right but that was cut from the film. Saccharine as Love Is An Open Door is meant to be, I want Kristoff and Anna to have a duet like that at the beginning of Frozen III, but way better.
But For The First Time In Forever and the Reprise have my favourite duet lyrics because of the counterpoint:
For The First Time In Forever
For the first time in forever / Don't let them in I'm getting what I'm dreaming of / Be the perfect girl you always have to be A chance to change my lonely world / Conceal A chance to find true love / Conceal don't feel, don't let them I know it all ends tomorrow, so it has to be today! / Know!
For The First Time In Forever: Reprise
I'm such a fool, I can't be free! / You don't have to be afraid No escape from the storm inside of me / We can work this out together I can't control the curse! / We'll reverse the storm you made
Oh, oh, oh Anna, please, you'll only make it worse!
Don't panic / There's so much fear! We'll make the sun shine bright / You're not safe here! We can face this thing together / No
We can change this winter weather And everything will be alright
I CAAAAAN'T!
THAT SHIT WAS PEAK! For The First Time In Forever perfectly illustrates the differences in the sisters, why the fuck am I speaking so formal, because Anna is so excited about what's happening because it's Coronation Day and Elsa is just focused on her anxiety the whole time and what I really love about the Reprise is the fact that Elsa really does feel like she's having a mental breakdown and she's visibly spiraling as Anna tries to help her and that's so fucking cool.
Yes I know I'm overthinking probably but PLEASE adapt the devil's mirror plot from the original Snow Queen, it would be so funny -
when Frozen III comes out, prepare to be sick of me
My Roman Empire is the fact that in the Frozen Musical Elsa was legit suicidal
“Father you want what’s best for me, if I die will they be free”
“Mother what if after I’m gone, the cold gets colder and the storm rages on”
“Can’t live and I can’t die”
If Frozen 3 brings Elsa back as queen of Arendelle, I already know there’s going to be a lot of fans crying this “undoes the point/development of Frozen 2!”…as if Frozen 2’s ending doesn’t go against the first movie…Frozen 1 was literally about Anna and Elsa reconnecting after 13 years of separation how do you miss that.
And please don’t give me “time passed so Elsa changed by the time the next movie” because that exact same excuse can be used for Frozen 3 hypothetically undoing it if it also takes place years later. If you use that defense for Frozen 2 don’t complain about Frozen 3 if it undoes Frozen 2’s ending.
