Ah, it was that time of the year already? The first official day of spring had arrived, despite all the snow Jack continued to bring to certain areas. Nonetheless, the winter spirit was more than happy as today was the day he got to see a good friend of his. He waited until the sun had been up for a few hours and the children had all made their way to school before he flew off in the direction of that lone cabin.

Admittedly, he passed by this building more often than not during the winter, but he always made sure not disturb it, knowing that a specific someone would be hibernating inside until it was time for her to get back to work. And today just happened to be the day for her to get started. He landed silently on the roof of the porch and glanced down over the edge to see that the front door was still closed.

Perfect. Moving his grip on the wooden staff to the very end, Jack reached across the covered entrance and used the hook-shaped end to knock firmly against the door. "Wakey, wakey, May~" he cooed to himself before disappearing above the roof again.
