I decided to go vegan after meeting German vegan strongman Patrik Baboumian at veg fest in Glasgow in December 2015 and I was interested to see he is appearing at Bristol veg fest this weekend (26/27 May 2018). If you are anywhere near this you should go. The line-up of speakers and well known vegans going to be in attendance is insane. The line-up includes;

Patrick Baboumian (big strong man)

Hench Herbivore (vegan bodybuilder/nutritionist)

Tin Shieff (Former world free-running champion/Ninja Warrior)

Anthony Millally (plays rugby for Leeds Rhinos)

Omowale Adewale (boxer/kick boxer)

Kerry McCarthy Vegan MP

Thangam Debbonaire Vegan MP

Dale Vince (owner of Ecotricity)

John Venus (vegan bodybuilder)

Robert Webster (vegan bodybuilder)

As well as the amazing line up, there are tons of events and food stalls. There is also a line up of comedy and music throughout the weekend. The event looks huge in comparison to those in Scotland and if I was closer than 372 miles I’d be there.

This book came just as I was leaving for vegfest Bristol https://bristol.vegfest.co.uk so it will have to read upon my return 😭 Don't forget Sat 4PM seated one arm shoulder press (7Kg ladies, 15Kg men) and SUN 2PM pushups, both in the Vegan Activists hub. Our stall is in South Concourse corner for info, and to say "Hi"

The Bristol Vegfest is upon us once again. We have a talk by Carlos Barbon and a 1 arm seated shoulder press contest (females 7Kg, males 15Kg). Both are on the Saturday, so make sure you are booked for that day. Carlos talks at 4pm and the contest follows on at 5 in the same room (the health and nutrition room). If you fancy meeting up after the stalls close, we could all go listen to some music and hangout.
