Daughter Caitlin actually witnessed the crime. She was at her laptop, in her L.A. home, when she glanced through a window and saw a man carrying a package in the wrong direction - away from her porch.

Before she could react in any meaningful way, the thief was a block away in the getaway car. This all took place in the brazen light of day.
