I got so excited about remaking #005, I wanted to get right back into it. 

But I didn’t really think it through, so here it is. It looked much better in my head. For one, the broccoli was supposed to stay on the branches, but it just kept splitting and sliding off. The birds were an afterthought, too, when my original plan (using tomatoes) did not pan out at all. 

Mr loved it. He’s especially fond of practicing his noodle-gathering fork skills.

I trimmed the carrot birds by hand, and it took way too much time and required way too many steamed carrots. We didn’t waste the leftovers, though. Yum.

Pesto fried broccoli

Spinach noodles

Boiled egg

Sliced olive (for mouse ears)

Seaweed (for eyes)
