Hey. You guys are cool, I guess.

Hey, so I’ve almost hit 50 followers on this multi and this is my 500th post. Thank you for all of those who have been here through the bad and the good. I really do appreciate it. This blog is really a respite from my day-to-day life. It hasn’t been going well lately. A million thank-yous and hugs. Virtual hugs of course. I’m really a touch averse person irl. “you know i appreciate you coming over everyday but--” sunny takes a pause, rethinking her words. “nevermind. i kinda don’t. my manager told me he wishes you’d actually buy something instead of distracting me while i’m here.” weeknights were off times for the store, which is kind of why she doesn’t mind the other coming over, but getting scolded by her manager was a different story altogether. “not that you’re distracting or whatever. i just-- ignore what i said.”

There was something that Daehyun always wanted to do and something he insisted on when he signed to his label. As he was growing up music was always an obligation as his mother forced him to take classical piano lessons before he could even speak.

He didn’t want that to be the case for anyone. So while he was still relatively unknown Daehyun made it a goal of his to teach music composition to those whose dream was to make it in music. About twice a month he invited about three different students into the studio. The students were usually hand-picked by him based on the letters they mailed into his PO Box. He’d teach for a good two hours and take an hour to answer any questions that they may have at the end of the session.

Daehyun loved doing this despite taking its toll on his social battery. So after a three-hour session, Daehyun cleaned up. It was a ritual for him. This studio was where he himself was laying down new tracks. This place was a sanctuary and bringing people into it always made him a bit anxious. He grabbed his bag and flung it across his shoulder and onto his back and he exited the studio and started to fish into his pocket for his keys, but they weren’t there...

He patted his pockets once again and urged himself to remain calm. The keys weren’t lost as of yet. They were just misplaced.

“ i don’t want it to just be. a memory. i don’t want him to be something i remember, i want him to be here. with me. in my bed, by my side, with MY ring on his finger. what if i see him and it’s not even a ghost ? and they say some spirits only echo their last few moments on loop. what if he’s one of those and i see him, but he can’t see me ? what if he doesn’t want to see me ? or he’s angry ? or what if he’s just a memory and every time i see him his face changes little by little until i can’t remember what my fucking soulmate looked like ? i can’t risk what little i have left. i can’t lose him again. i can’t lose all of him. ”
