BOOK RECOMMENDATION SUNDAY 🔦 “A dream doesn’t have to be bad. It’s what you do with it.” 🔦 When I read this book, six years ago, I was attracted to the setting-Detroit (what up hometown 🙌🏽) first- and then I was aware the author was very buzzed about because of “The Shining Girls” (which I still haven’t read🤦🏾♀️). This is one of those books that seems like a deceptively simple- with lots of commentary about social media and art sprinkled in along the way- and then, POOF, it all changes in an instant.
