Don’t just give your heart to any guy, give it to someone who reaches for your hand during a prolonged moment of silence, just to remind you they are still by your side. Give your heart to a man who pulls you close after a fight instead of pushing you away. Give it to a man who doesn’t make you doubt yourself or cause you to feel guilty for something you didn’t do. Give your heart to someone who’ll confront you throughout periods of insecurity, when you are feeling inadequate or lost. Someone who continuously reminds you of your worth. Give your heart to a guy who would never cause you to feel inferior in your relationship because he'll do everything his power to make you feel opposite. Give it to a man who shows genuine interest in your persons and support you in every aspect of your life. Someone who will go the extra mile to make you smile give your heart to a guy who will make you a priority instead of a second option. A guy will follow you anywhere in the world merely because a life without you is unimaginable.

By the time the last call rolled around, Bucky’s final pair of (airforce blue, gold trim) shorts were stuffed so full of bills, he was stuffing them into the harness strapped across his chest. He’d been working the crowd all night, glitter and sweat making his skin shimmer as he teased. 

Steve hadn’t been able to take his eyes off of him, especially not knowing that as long as Bucky didn’t change his mind, Steve would get to spend the night touching instead of just looking.

Monster

How cruel must you be to remind them at every chance you get how your life will be much better without them?

I know you're weak and we can't be doing this.

I can't be around you because of all that we've been through and yet, I hold so much compassion towards you.

It's a constant war in my mind and heart.

One must do what the other repels to do even if it hurts.

I don't like who I've became around you.

I know that I am not her but you bleed me till I bring her out. I feel like a monster telling you of things I need that I know that you can't comprehend nor understand.

I have to keep my distance from you since in no way are you stimulating me to be the person I need to be.

When you reach the end of the road,

What else would you do?

When you're the one in the crosshairs,

where would you stand?

What would you say?

Do you stay and bite your tongue?

Would you keep wearing a mask?

Would you let him walk away?

No answers to break this vicious cycle.

My body is numb, too weak to stand on my own.

Where do I find the strength to keep moving forward?
