I would’ve loved to see some interaction between these two post story. He probably hates Bronev for sure but he is desperate and maybe needs some closure with him.

Something something the tragedy and irony that Descole probably hated Bronev the most and yet he turned out the most similar to him
(Appearance, studying the Azrans, blackmail, manipulation, stopping at nothing in his path to reach his goals not even stopping at family, questionable sense of architecture?, him acting like this being triggered by loss of loved ones, his life’s work being essentially for nothing, obsession getting out of hand, etc)
my boyfriend got me into pl and i love 1 (one) man
oh and his dad's here too to show how he's a mini me
Okay y'all but hear me out: Period Accurate Professor Layton
There was this rumour circulating around that PL is set in the 1930/1940s, and assuming this is true, Hershel and Desmond would've been born somewhere in the 1900s. It would only make sense if their parents were born in the Victorian era, and adults during the Edwardian era.
So, I tried my hand at Edwardian-style Rachel Bronev. I remember in a screencap or two from Azran Legacy, Rachel was wearing a pencil skirt and blouse. If it really was in the 1900-1910s, it would definitely feel really out of place.
Sorry idk why procreate/tumblr deepfried my art I swear it wasn't this blurry
family, lost
shout out to this person on ao3 i love you
Descole to Bronev post-Azran Legacy: I guess the only part of your plan that didn't work was THE WHOLE GODDAMN THING!
