Although this wasn’t my favorite season, it definitely had some good moments. Zack stentz Twitter post has led me to believe this is a transition season, nothing too big was going to happen, just setting the table till the main course comes…. But I’m happy to say I called it when it came to kenji’s dad-
(But seriously, sure I was disappointed with the brookenji ship being canon, I don’t think it will last. I think both of them will teach each other to love and trust but stay friends and not lovers.)
What I meant by setting the table, I mean:
1. Brand going after Darius.
2.The camp counselors or someone else getting the message.
3. Bumpy coming back in some way, (perhaps the camp counselors going back to the island and finding a grown bumpy and their “camp”)
4. The situation with kenji’s dad. I’m thinking next season is going to be very “kenji-centric”. A lot of good angst is going to come out of this: Kenji feeling his dad has betrayed him, Kenji’s dad thinking his son was dead.
5. Mae. That’s it. She’s becoming a major part of the show.
6. The baby dinosaurs.
All of these things are going to be crucial to next season and kenji’s relationship with Brooklyn might be the only way to keep his mental stability from cracking completely. (I’m still rootin’ for benji tho haha) once he stands up to his dad and saves the dinosaurs, he and Brooklyn will part ways as lovers and become even better friends.
