The Brooklyn Burger is a delicious and savory burger recipe that combines ground beef and ground pork for a flavorful patty. Topped with cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and classic burger condiments, it's a taste of Brooklyn in every bite.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 lb ground pork. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup diced onion. 1/4 cup diced pickles. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 egg. 1/4 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. 4 slices cheddar cheese. Lettuce, tomato, and red onion for garnish. 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp.
Instructions: Put breadcrumbs, diced onion, diced pickles, minced garlic, an egg, ketchup, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix the ground beef and pork together. Mix everything together well. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Set your grill or skillet on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready. The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them. Put a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt in the last minute of cooking. You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are lightly browned. Put lettuce, tomato, and red onion on the bottom half of each bun to make your burgers. Put a bacon slice, a burger patty, and the top half of the bun on top. Serve hot with your favorite toppings and sides.
