I’m assuming you’re talking about Sportsnet...you’re welcome! I’ve seen first-hand just how dangerous Wilson is & how his teammates have been excusing him from the beginning (Brooks Laich said in April 2015 that Wilson hitting Viz was “a good penalty to take”—aka it was good that he targeted a player with a lengthy concussion history so that we’d be down a D-man). What bothers me most is the fact that Barry Trotz is very complicit in this. He’s done such an amazing job with the Isles & I’ll be forever grateful for that, but he encouraged Wilson to play in a dangerous manner (he was the Caps’ coach during the Viz hit & continued until he came to the Isles).
