frenchie is stedes paralel at first he is useless, can't do much then he realizes he is good at sewing things together (i think he's a metaphor for like being the family glue)

roach puts a curse(allergies) on frenchie just like ed put a curse on stede with the red suit which is a metaphor for ed, their love,etc. ed is the devil who cursed stede and the crew.
